From what I understand, the Heartmaster release is an early and cheaper release exclusive to Fansprojectcore members and will be released on a future (currently unspecified) date to the regular outlets.

Unless we're not talking about the same item (Heartmaster... WB-002), I'm not sure what part you are saying is not fact. The Fansproject order page for the item says it's an "exclusive release of 800 with special pricing for Fansprojectcore members". This implies there will be a release with "non-special" pricing for non-members.
The only thing I've seen Venksta debunk is the assumption that this release is a different color than the main release. He even went as far to say "The fact the pricing is less than what a retailer will be charging off the bat...". Key word there is "will".

FansProject would not bother releasing a new figure through a group, with just 800 pieces. Thats a big loss financially, and no one makes money. Plus, we should have seen a price tag of $100+ before shipping for Steel Core. The fact the pricing is less than what a retailer will be charging off the bat, even at $79.99 price tag, shows FansProject is definitely a big part of FansProject Core.
