Here's a question mind. Now that we've seen how the chest gimmick works, why is there pins in the ultra Megatron chest? They don't seem to be there to pin the chest to the rotating piece...

Maybe the halves of the chestplate are pinned together.

I'm thinking that, just like the new MP Bumblebee, this Arcee is only meant to be viewed from a certain side. I have no idea which side that is, but apparently Takara hasn't figured it out either.

I actually thought arcee was the earthrise version for a moment. Owch. Money saved and hopefully a third party will do her justice at some point before has/tak revisits her.

It's sad that the Thrilling 30 mold from six years ago, despite being so fiddly, did right by her design so much better.

Arcee's bosom is WEIRD, why is it so low & misshapen? Maybe she's mistransformed, or she needs a bit of a lift. She was first seen in Transformers Movie in 1986, 34 years ago, so she's still very the young! :lol:

It's not just the front of her chest, her sides need to be higher too, hence the white stripe lining up all the way around her torso.

MP Arcee was a figure I was really looking forward too, but damn, it looks like she's wearing a cardboard box as a bra. A female figure from Japan, I was really expecting a little more femininity to her like they did with Blackarachnia.

That said, Arcee looks like when kids (or grown men) stick balloons under their shirt, but don't know how high to put them.

At least her face isn't as derpy as the first time we saw it. Her nose isn't just sticking out of her face, it looks like a nose, her mouth is slightly open and what we can see of her chin seems to be rounder.

It's for moving whatever that black part is, the pins go into it on the sides. I thought that black part was what his head was connected to with a twist in it similar to RID2001 Ultra Magnus, but I guess it serves another purpose we can't see (probably connects the canon to the front of the spacecraft mode).

Always a risk of doing action poses with blocky robots, especially blocky robots with big crotches. At least it's not the Patented Dreamwave Buckled Knees pose.

The magazine's black background is much more flattering to Snapdragon than the white from the Dengeki Hobby photos.
