Rouge look way better than the official MP. Unfortunately, Rouge transform by exploding and hoping for the best.

The cartoon do have a backpack. But it's much more compact.
It could have been done by hiding some panels inside her legs and torso, like so many other figures did.

Obviously, I'm all for the middle ground. No need to be THAT compact, but it could be just a wee bit smaller and most importantly, look cleaner. Not like a scrapyard.
