Now, they said the next masterpiece was going to be announced at Tokyo toyfair. Are the next figures Ravage and Rumble/Frenzy? Or are we going to get another suprise?

They will be released in a pack by themselves, my sources say. I know Soundblaster will come with a cassette, but perhaps he comes with them all?

I have a whole cassette collection thing going on, so these being backwards compatable is a thing for me.
Acousticwave has been cancelled for some time now. The company making it has gone under.

That was never confirmed, and if you look at the 2nd page of that topic, there's a brief explaination from Sidecutter regarding some difficulties related to getting the product out.
I'm thrilled Takara is producing MP Soundwave, but will still consider picking up an Acoustic Wave if it were released. Besides, this group also teased a prototype MP Blaster. How long do you think we'd have to wait for an official release of that guy?
For me, the more the merrier.

I think a seperate pack of cassetes is a good idea and I would be all over it too. But can we expect the cassettes to be labelled MP15 or is there another reveal coming?
Exciting times. I'm loving this line.

I may also pick up AW under the exact same logic, but the thrill for it has just been cut down by a substancial margin. Those tapes were always what drew me to AW and now it seems the official release has all of them already.

Otherwise, I'm happy to hear the news, and I'm happy I preordered at BBTS, but don't see how Soundwave + Laserbeak is worth $170.
They did that with Music label Soundwave. It was a pitiful.wewyllenium wrote:Wait a minute!!!! So Buzz Saw, Ravage and Frenzy/Rumble will be coming separately next year!?! WHAT!!!!!
Anyways. I wouldn't mind TT sticking in a cheap MP3 player inside the toy. Even those 5$ micro MP# players would do.

Are you serious? this is what Acoustic Wave looked like. I am not seeing an articulated G1 toy there. To be honest the TT one is more of an Articulated G1 toy.
I really wish the official product had a bit more detailing in him, it looks too plain for the Masterpiece line. Look how much detailing went into MP-10. Oh well, I'm just glad that we are getting an official Soundwave. Laserbeak sells me on the TT product of course. I want a Buzzsaw, Ravage and Frumble next please. Do it like your Encore line and release a pack of tapes.

I thing fantoys version looks better to with way more detail. Mp-13 is nice but hes kinda plain and it's nice to see all the stuff he's coming with and not just one tape
Not in the cartoon, but he got plenty of action scenes to himself in the very first four issues of Marvel G1.craggy wrote:I don't give a damn about Buzzsaw since he never EVER did anything of note.

I think they're just predicting the inevitable Soundblaster redeco. No confirmation on it, though.gavinfuzzy wrote:Wait. Soundblaster? Well, that repaint was evident from the start...
