Hi all! So I picked up TR Wolfwire/Weirdwolf earlier today, and it's the first time I'm running into that dreaded loose-head issue that's been inconsistently cropping up.
I googled around a bit, but didn't' come up with anything; is there any kind of a fix for the issue?
Old fasioned games!

Disassemble and reheat the clamps?

This thread will likely be able to help you:
titans-return-horrible-qc-t107376.phpIt was on the second page of this forum. Also the workshop thread is there if you need further help and is usually the best place to get people to respond (I seemed to have not gotten any response about my issue though with RotF Voyager Starscream). It is a pinned post at the top of this page. The first thread I mentioned is a bit more extensive and has a few recommended fixes. It's a known QC issue with the loosey goosey heads for TR figures sadly.

My Highbrow was really bad. When I inspected it, there was a noticeable gap in the connector port when the head was inserted. TRU sent me a replacement (there were other QC issues with the figure), so I decided to work on it a bit. I wasn't interested in anything that would take more than 5 minutes. I used a blow dryer for a few minutes on the connector port, then used a clamp to pull the connector port together. It definitely fixed the issue to the point that maybe the port is a bit too tight. It takes more effort now to insert the head than other figures. And it doesn't bobble around when it's in there.

I wonder why they didn't just come up with a universal part that all of the figures use instead of each figure having a unique port with varying degrees of effectiveness. I'm guessing Scourge and Highbrow share ports among the other parts they share since they seem to be the worst when it comes to bobblehead syndrome.

I'll see if TL Highbrow can be disassembled. I'll try to heat that clamp to tighten the head connection.

My Highbrow's head doesn't wobble side to side, it wobbles front and back. The issue seems to be that the whole collar assembly(that's what I am calling the hole the heads go in) sits too far up. I disassembled his chest, and found that there was some flash at the bottom of the grey collar assembly. Scraping that off made the hold a little better, as the flash cause the collar assembly to flex outward. It still wobble way too much though. I have seen people using a thin piece of plasticard in front and back of the collar assembly and getting good results fixing the problem I have. I might need to do that.
