Rare in the US, but plentiful in Europe. Same thing happened with Energon Ultra Magnus

Odd, I didn't have trouble finding either one in the US.

These days, though. Couldn't find a Wreck Gar to save my life, and I think there's pretty much no chance of any stores here restocking with any future PRID waves since the shelves are clogged with deluxe Bumblebees and voyager Optimuses. I swear, one place had two dozen bees and three cliffjumpers and that's it for deluxes.

Universe Skywarp: repaint of Beast Machines Deluxe Jetstorm
Cybertron Skywarp: repaint of Cybertron Thundercracker
BWII Skywarp: slight repaint of Beast Wars Magnaboss Silverbolt

Same rule apples nonetheless: once a repaint, always a repaint

I agree with blurrz FOC skywarp will more than likely be an exclusive to takara.
