So all the gestalts from G1 (including the Japanese exclusives) duke it out. They are all in a large city next to forest area. It is possible for the gestalts to split into their base components. Pretty much anything goes in this battle.

I didn't include the Micromaster combiners since they'd be way too small to fight the big guys. I also didn't include "The Beast" for obvious reasons...

Who'll be left standing in the end?

so how does the combined forms of the powered masters fit into this or are they invalid?

Oh god, I love these threads!

I've got Computron. Gestalt mode is very strong (MTMTE profile books) and they as individuals aren't too shabby. They function well as a team despire Afterburner being the antinomian presence and are highly intelligent. I think (MTMTE again) based on their individual traits they're the most balanced of the gestalt groups, but honestly Landcross and Road Ceasar, I don't know enough about them.

P.S Did you place the battle in a forest/deserted area so as to eliminate the whole "Defensor loses 'cuz he'll stop to protect people" herping? If so, excellent choice.

I simply went with the 5 ~ 6 member combined forms.

Anyway, Dai Atlas is already helluva powerful without combining, it would have been kinda unfair to include him. It's the same reason I didn't include the beast, that thing ismore powerful then 3 gestalts combined.

Terrific choice. There was one of these a looong time back where people voted for Monstructor because the MTMTE books say he's got some life-draining power and that ended the deabte fairly quick. In Defensors' case, it would just be too lame for him not to be able to fight because of potential casualties, so excellent call.

preadking & piranaking who his tech specs bio lists him as the strongest gestalt ever,etc

That poll list had a lot of the weaker TF gestalt combiners. I voted for Superion because he was the only military team on your list. I'd imagine 5 jets that are packing military missles in alt modes could beat out any of the other combiners on your poll list. plus they were faster in alt modes & could hit ground based alt modes extremly easily from the air.
