Sort of. Their movesets are the same, but Ganondorf is sower and heavier. His attacks are a bit faster and he hits a bit harder, if I'm not mistaken. And I always preferred Ike, his attacks hit hard without sacrificing any of his speed.

wait, your post is a bit confusing, who's faster? Im guessing captain falcon. I just dont like him. I love F-Zero, but not him. I have to say, Ganondorf's special, if timed right, can be devastating, which is another reason I love using him.

Ganondorf's move speed is slower than Falcon, but his attack speed is faster, though any attack is faster than Falcon Punch...

The Legend of Dragoon
I just got done with the dragon temple (I'm calling it that) and got the spirit of the white silver dragon to give to Shana after she has been poisoned by the dragon breathe that was lurking in the air at the place where I fought the green tusked dragon.

The search for MGS4 is still on...

I got to the black castle in Sandora. I went through it all, fought all of the guards and got all three blue, yellow and red stones and placed them in that panel to open the door on the statue of King Doels wife. Now I'm about to fight King Doel.

Oddly, Peach and Zelda/Sheik seemed to be the ones I worked the best with, although I usually played as Olimar just for the heck of it.

Rage
Now that I'm in Subway Town, needed to make nice with the local Mayor. He sent me to help his construction crew with a mutant problem. I hit the subways, found the mutants' entrance and blocked it with explosives ("Explosives solve everything, kids!).
Was then sent to break into a gang base where thy ran power generation experiments. Found what I was looking for but it was a bust, which is now a bigger problem because said gang will soon retaliate against the town. Now I need to go to their main base and clear them out.
Before heading out, needed a better car. Won a Monarch and ran some side-races to pimp it out.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

Mega Man II (GB)
Got a hold of this game for completions sake, and already I find it the worst in the Game Boy line up. The Game Boy games were outsourced, to all the same company (whose head is a Mega Man fan himself) except for the second, which probably went to the lowest bidder.

Anyhow, got a foothold in it by defeating Clash Man/Crash Man and then Metal Man. Up next are Air Man who I hope I can defeat, and Wood Man.

And as it turns out, Mega Man V for the GB is really hard to find, thus will be costly. Lovely. >:oP

REX VS RAY! RAY VS REX! MONDAY! MONDAY! MONDAY!

I would buy a competitive multiplayer metal gear fighting game. That was downright amazing.

Ok, so Iv'e gotten to the part were I have to beat Mantis. ok.
it was confusing at first, but I know what to do now.
I got the puppet, and now I have to...shake the controller?

Well that's just f*cking great! I dont have sixaxis, wtf!
It still does damage, but a tiny bit, thats it. And not before every freaking soldier in the room gets back up again and starts shooting at me, not to mention those damn flying knives, and topped with the fact hat I have NO Items to heal myself because the area before this one was a pain in the ass! This is just frustrating.

Ok, so apparently you can just shoot her after you hit her with the blast from her puppet, but how was I supposed to know that? The whole fight, and bullets didn't do a thing.

I didn't even know the PS3 had wired controllers. Seems a bit...archaic, at this point. I looked it up, I don't know which model you'd have, but most third-party controllers should still have motion sensors as well. If yours doesn't, you made one really, really poor choice along the way.

No I don't have motion controls, its not exactly required for many games on the PS3. I was told you could just shoot her after you catch her, as a sort of failsafe, just in case you dont have motion controls. If they are required, then that's just bad game design. How do you make a game that requires something that not everyone will have?

Phew, good run on this today. Okay, short version.
2 of my members officially performed the joining and are now official Grey wardens.
Returned to Wending woods to hit a statue searching quest I missed earlier. Hit amaranthine to turn in my quests. While there, Nathaniel caught up with a long-separated relative. I ran a final quest for the Chantry and then officially hit Blackmarsh.
This one gets complicated but I'll try to summarize. Searching for a missing Grey Warden. Found a haunted swamp and an abandoned village and lots of monsters, as well as a tear in the veil. Tracked down the grey warden but he was dead. A talking Darkspawn sent us into the fade, but found himself trapped as well. He took off and I took to fixing the veil tear from the Fade side. Hit a crypt to aid a scared woman who was actually a demon. I flexed my muscles and she backed down from the fight. Found a town that had been trapped on the wrong side of the face and controlled by an evil witch. A spirit calling itself justice showed them their state (they didn't realize they were dead) and led a small army against said witch, with my joining him. we killed the talking darkspawn and the witch sent us back to the real world.
Back in the swamp, found that the witch had crossed over too. Additionally, the justice spirit had been brought across ended up in the body of the dead Grey warden. With no better options, he joined us fighting the witch. She transformed to a pride demon but we took her out pretty handily. Phew....
Took up a side mission collecting dragon bones, but awoke a ghost dragon which ate us for lunch. I need to rethink this battle strategy... >:oP

Well, not every controller has it. Ive had at least three out of the five ive owned for the different ps3's ive had over the years that have had NO motion control.

Speaking of which.
MGS4
I Beat Screaming Mantis, without motion controls. Simple, actually. All you need to do is rotate the right stick, and she dropped like a fly.

and suddenly PSYCHO MANTIS! OH! Please move my controller! HE DID! AWESOME! And he blew up :-(

Ok, now that that's done, on to the Microwave tunnel.
Wow, that was intense...

After all that I ended up atop a tower on the Arc Colony, for a fight with Liquid. Pretty tough fight actually, and I love the Snake Eater throwback. After it was done, though, that was it. Like, it was done. Wow, really? Thats the end? I mean, wow. Pretty short game, all things considered. More cutscenes than gameplay. I'll play through it again, probably, but Im surprised.

Still, that one part, during the wedding, were Otacon's telling Sunny that snake is sick, but ok, I nearly lost it.

I was equally surprised to see Big Boss alive and well. Well, alive anyway. And now Snake doesnt have to blow his brains out. Groovy.

The first-party ones do, and they're the only ones that really matter. It's not their fault for designing a game that requires something every player is supposed to have literally right out of the box. It's the player's fault for failing to realize a third-party device is rarely as good as a first-party one.

More retro gaming goodness:

Mega Man II (GB)
Cut down Wood Man and clogged up Air Man. The rushed nature of the game really shows now, with Wily Castle immediately following air Man's defeat. Wily Castle itself is nothing more than a Teleporter Room leading to 4 more stages: Hard Man, Needle Man, Top Man and Magnet Man. No Stage Select screen, no Stage Intro. Lovely.

Gods (PC)
Found my way through the Labyrinth and defeated its Guardian, which of course is a Minotaur. Looked rather gruesome after he was killed tho, I'll spare you the details. Put short, he only partially explodes. The next and final level is The Underworld, which is simply devious.

Reached the second chapter, Second Chance, i am at that point a bit after learning how to use maximum armor, i a feline which i find a better then scarab.

Half-Life 2 Episode one

finished, it was like....two hours? three hours? anyway it was short and lacked an awesome gunfight expect at the chapter urban fight. But best part, it's that moment in lowlife:

Me: walking towards a door in a dark underground area filled with zombie, but followed by my trusty companion Alyx...

[Groan like a Zombie]

Me: look behind me thinking to find a zombie

Alyx: Gotcha!

Half Life 2 Episode 2

i reached the beginning of Freeman Pointfex, had an awesome double Antlion Guard boss fight and before that i witnessed the powers that Vortigaunts bear, simply powerful

Batman Arkham City

yah...decided to replay that game, spend most of the time getting riddler trophies, i am at a continues search for them, i reached the point where i must go the that GCPD Building to get Mr.Freeze to make me and joker a cure for Titan, i forgot what Protocol Ten was, well, i will remember it again once when i finish that game.

Have you guys seen anything on Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes? The Graphics for that game look nuts! I'd have to see more on the gameplay. Twin Snakes was a good remake so it could be updated with MGS2 graphics. But What I want is a remake of the original Metal Gear. It seems that most of the MG fans think that the first Metal Gear Solid was the first game throughout the entire series. Wrong.

The Legend of Dragoon
I beat the Gehrich gand and then the fake Princess Emille (I think her real name is Praxus, I forgot already). Now I'm on the ship Queen Fury and sailing through the Sea.

It's a Metal Gear trailer, and if Raiden taught me anything, it's that Hideo is a filthy lair in regards to any game still in development.

Wigglez wrote:Twin Snakes was a good remake so it could be updated with MGS2 graphics.

Uh, Twin Snakes already had MGS2 graphics...

Wigglez wrote:But What I want is a remake of the original Metal Gear.

We already went over this, Hideo Kojima doesn't like remakes, and the only reason Twin Snakes was made was so Snake could get a leg-up for Super Smash Bros.

Wigglez wrote:It seems that most of the MG fans think that the first Metal Gear Solid was the first game throughout the entire series. Wrong.

Very few people think that, seeing as they go on about the first two games, at great length, in MGS1. Although maybe a bunch of people do, and I've just tuned myself to drowning them out. Although to be fair, Subsistence does include the original two MSX games.

DC Universe Online:
So, okay, holy crap. There used to be certain bits of currency required for Tier 2 or higher gear; Marks of Distinction for T2, Marks of Momentum for T2.5, and Marks of Krypton for T3. it's a rather common complaint to hear about how rare those are to get; you can get maybe 18 Marks of Momentum per day, and a single piece of armor costs something like 60 marks.

So they did away with them. Now, Marks of Triumph, which were so common people eventually stopped caring about them, but everything from T0 to T3 gear. You can trade in the obsolete marks for Marks of Triumph, even getting Feats out of it.

Marks of War are still required for the T4 gear, though. Can't win 'em all.

Also, new DLC drops tomorrow. "You gonna buy it?" Don't have to, I got a Legendary Account.

I know Twin Snakes had MGS2 graphics. That's what I was trying to say. I'm still trying to get Fall of Cybertron. I just saw that the Dinobot DLC came out today and now I hate how North Carolinas unemployment rate is super high.

So, "Whattaya Buyin'?"

Skyrim
So I finally got around to stopping all the dicking around and did that quest were you infiltrate the thalmor embassy. Had to go find some old guy, who then told me about Alduin's wall. I guess thats the next step in this quest.

I got my enchanting level up fairly high. High enough to were armor enchantments are slightly above decent. Crafted another set of dragonscale armor, and used potions and enchanted smithing armor to up the armor rating almost as high as Daedric Armor. Pretty useful set of light armor now.
