Monster Hunter Generations:

Barely hit High Rank, maining Greatsword and rollin around in Volvi Armor.

I don't feel this game is as good as 4. I'm high rank (barely) and just don't feel it. It's all gathering quests, a monster quest here and there, with no narrative aside from "Get our village some promotion"

4U didn't have a real impactful story or anything, but it was a heck of a lot more memorable, and come time to fight Shagaru, it felt like the steaks were high.

I felt like I got to know the characters. In this they're just boring.

Music and setting is really nice in this game though, more asian feeling all around.
And the final boss is something to behold, with his dreary sea song and massive, skeletal tendrils disguised as dragon heads.

The game's not without merit, it's just very, VERY grindy.

Smash 4

Unlocked everyone. I suck at it, but i'm getting better.
Of couse I have a habit of picking low tier characters too, Samus, Ganondorf, etc...Samus is broken in this game. Her hitboxes go nowhere.

Feeling a little stuck on Terraria. I lost against the wall of flesh and now I can't summon him again :(

I beat Persona 5 over a week ago. It's the single greatest thing I've ever played in my life. It transcends beyond a mere game.

You gotta let the guide respawn, then get a guide voodoo doll in hell, then drop it in lava. A good precaution is to build a bridge across hell, then make a Phoenix Blaster with Meteor Shot and run along the bridge, shooting him.

I just beat the second level in Thumper, and it was honestly super satisfying after not having played the game in a while.

Been playing the crap out of TF:Devistation lately. Something about getting in the rythim of fighting the bad guys is kinda relaxing. Been farming tons of weapons.

Managed to beat Devastation on commander difficulty and now I am farming stuff on Magnus difficulty. Looks like now my stats can go up further so its time to get my grind on before going to story mode or any other challenges.

Monster Hunter World has had me lately.
I can't recommend it to anyone who isn't a fan of games like these, or monster hunter in general, but if you are? It's an amazing, rewarding, living, breathing game full of stuff to dig into. There's a lot of content here, with more to come, and I'm excited.

I'm currently grinding my way up to some Tobi Kadachi weapons, after having made HR Ingot Mail for the wind Res and Thunder Attack. I'm doing all this in preparation to fight Nergigante, a monster Ive heard nightmarish tales about. Hopefully the work will be worth it and make the fight manageable in the long run, especially if I want his gear moving forwards. I hear his weapons have Sleep Element, so that'll be a must. Sleep-bombing is the best playstyle.

I have dug up my PAL region Wii and GameCube plus their games from my closet, almost 5 years after initially moving to the US, and both still work. I had to get new AC Adapters for both (I never brought the EU ones, fearing electrical issues as we use 220-240V DC), and got a 5-plug Wii Component Video cable to bypass the PAL/NTSC spiel. Gotta love playing on a 48" TV at 480p (models look at bit pixely tho...). Getting one for the GameCube... Don't get me started. True, my Wii plays GameCube games perfectly at 480i and Luigi's Mansion at 576i (no 60Hz mode for that game), but I still have the Game Boy Player attached and I wanna play Game Boy games on my TV at PAL 60Hz (480i). Makes it easier to upscale to conventional 720p to 1080p with their 60Hz, plus I wanna record stuff.

Anyway, progress:

Super Mario Galaxy 2
Left off with 80 Stars, but managed to get all 120 in a month I think? I'm gonna leave the Green Stars, optionally with Luigi for another day. I will say this: Purple Comets mixed with time limits or Cosmic Clones are EVIL!

New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Left off with World 9-1 unlocked, but went for all the other Star Coins and Secret Exits first. Nothing too troublesome, but World 9 was. World 9-7 especially with Ice Blocks, Munchers and Fire Piranhas was pure evil. But still did it, found everything and got 5 stars on my file... except I triggered a Super Guide way back when and saved, so no shining stars for me. O well.

Wario Land: The Shake Dimension
Left off just short of the ending, had some trouble with the final boss. Tried again just to see what would happen, and managed to beat him without that much effort. *shrugs* Gonna do the missions and treasures later.

Next up, Kirby's Adventure Wii's Extra Mode.

... or not. Changes in plans have occurred within the past year, including me getting a Kaico HDMI adapter for my GameCube. Thank you DOL-001's Digital Out! It's essentially a line doubler, but I'm staying at 480i and 576i50 (which my TV accepts to my surprise) for now. So my GameCube has been "unlocked", so... progress:

Wario Land: The Shake Dimension
100%, all Stages, all Missions, all Treasures. The Missions. The hardest was definitely the Missions... My advice? NEVER do the Time and No-Hit ones in the same run :BANG_HEAD:

Donkey Kong Country Returns
100%, all Puzzle Pieces, all K-O-N-G letters, even finished the Golden Temple. Levels in Mirror Mode I'm leaving for later, but I will say this: the Key Temples are a tad unfair in some spots.

Wario World
100% and in all honesty, way too easy to do so. Still pretty fun, and another PAL game that's 50 Hz only.

Star Fox Assault
Beat Bronze Level Story Mode and... don't know where to go from there. S-Flags, Silver or even Gold Medals, Ally Badges... :-?

Does anyone even read this thread?

3 months ago,i tried to beat the WR for ASTEROID COSTER 2 on DS,i reached only 2''04'32 but found a shortcut:after the first black hole, dive and rushjump to the left, homing attack and rush,if the robot electrify himself, that's because the jump was too close, later, you have to go under the blocs, don't land under the second one.

S.C1:keep on rushing when hiting the first bumper and you can air rush to the canon.

S.M2:the best burst at the begining (after a bounce on the capsule) is one medium jump, one maximal, one medium, one minimal to left and to right.EDIT:i forgot to check the WR,there is something better by half a second.

I'm not interested by the WII version and his remaster, not very intense.One-jump-flight,"OJF",is a plague for SONIC speedrun.

The only game I really play anymore is City of Heroes Homecoming online.. as far as that I have 30 level 50 characters with my two highest vet levels (levels over 50) being 548 and 416, The rest of the vet levels are one at 256, 122, a couple around 60, a bunch around 25 and a couple that are between 10 and 15. The Halloween event is going on right now so that is fun.

Yesterday,i got 1"25'40 in S.M 2,it's improvable with perfect précision which is also necessary in the two first 3DS games,'not sure the best times on the in-game leaderboards are cheated. One thing not intuitive is a rail you can skip with a small jump:don't rush at the same time, then, you can jump high enough.Oh,and i got 55'71 in S.C 2 way before going back to A.C 2.EDIT:i forgot to precise 45'00 in T.R 2 before S.M 2,i don't dive on the rail below:i do a very small jump, talking about that,it can be the secret for WR:it's easier to jump too much rather than not enough.

SONIC FRONTIERS...An open world like the first ADVENTURE game?No informations about it sound interesting to me,the franchise is continuing without me just like the whole industry.

Woo, finally getting the chance to play games.

Metroid: Zero Mission (Hard Mode)

Breezing through the game more or less... After finding some Energy and Missile Tanks. Really, it's the initial part that's the hardest with enemies taking almost 50% of your initial health! It took me a while to get used to the controls again, especially with aiming missiles up quickly, not to mention I had to chase down Diorumu (that big spiked worm) for the Charge Beam multiple times because of it! :BANG_HEAD:

Anyway, the good news: made it to Ridley. The bad news: can't get past Ridley

Metroid: Zero Mission (Hard Mode)

Made it past Ridley, then Mother Brain, the extra stealth section (I HATE those) through the Pirate Mothership and Chozodia, got the "fully powered suit" and lastly the Power Bomb. Not gonna hit Mecha Ridley yet, I actually went back to the original starting point in Brinstar, to start 100%'ing each area.

I know, I'm a masochist...

I have new videos of Samurai Shodown 2 and World Heroes Perfect on my youtube. Haohmaru and Ryoko. I need to play more Samurai Shodown 2 and World Heroes 1 as Dragon. As Dragon I plan on oplaying Deathmatch mode. Maybe World Heroes 1 and Kof 98. Then Art of fighting 1 and Kof 99. Yuri Sakazaki reminds me of Ryoko Tani. I will play Kof 98 as Chizuru and Mai. Then Kof 99 as Yuri, Nai and the Wommen's team.

Metroid: Zero Mission (Hard Mode)

Crateria: 100% (after a lot of Shinespark shenanigans)
Tourian: 100%
Norfair: 100%
Kraid: 100%
Ridley: 100% (after some puzzles and dumb luck)

Brinstar: 2 left

Chozodia will be last. Hopefully I can survive Mecha Ridley with triple health and double damage.

Ridley: 100%
Brinstar: 100%
Chozodia: 100%

100% Items, the final boss Mecha Ridley and the escape... ALL DONE!!!

Yup, I finally finished the game 200% and unlocked the Sound Test (only took beating Hard Mode, really). I did have some difficulty with it:

- When you 100% a game, Mecha Ridley does double damage and gets triple health. That means that should you get hit by his arm swipe in Hard Mode, you lose half your health (300 Damage!!!).
- I really don't do well with Escape Sequences, but the end was especially hard with two black Zebesians in a narrow space. Impervious to Missiles and Bombs, ugh.

However, much to my surprise, once I beat Mecha Ridley I looked at my health: full. Did I actually do it No Damage?! No way...

My time is a little under 7 hours. Nope, not Speedrunning it, but Low-Percentage, maybe.

*ahem* Now that that's done, which game is next...

Sonic Unleashed (Wii Version)

Yup, playing one of the lesser games in the series. I actually restarted it after getting stuck at EggmanLand years ago, and made it back there in 2 weeks. Some stats:

Lives: 10 (actually tried some of the Gaia Gate puzzles)
Average Rank Day Time Levels (Sonic): B
Average Rank Night Time Levels (Werehog): A

... and EggmanLand Day is still kicking my butt in the final section, not helped by the controls.

After watching the WR video which i didn't previously,i have reached 1''23'84 on S.M 2 DS,i would like to say that a dive on the first capsule isn't really faster,a bounce+medium+minimal(you hit the bee at best)+medium+left medium can end with a bounce on the bomb.I will probably end there or not say anything here,my favourite game too hard for me.
