As a Japanese Headmasters character, releasing Soundblaster (and subsequently Ratbat) in the US would be tough. If you want it so bad, stop griping and just buy it. A bunch of places are selling him at reduced prices these days.

At first I thought he was pure garbage, but he has grown on me and I am VERY tempted! Got both SW and SB and all the cassettes and the rare 'completionist' side of me has reared it's ugly head This really is an interesting take and if the clear plastic holds up I wont be able to resist.

I also agree about a U.S. release of SB, if his price has dropped then why not?

I really like the clear with the bronze scheme. I'm just not sure of the usage. His head is lacking something. Maybe if his face plate where bronze or just his helmet. Still pretty cool just from a "strange and wonderful" perspective. I'm set for this mold though.
That Lazor Prime may be another story.

I still stand by the idea that this should be re-purposed as Shattered Glass Soundblaster. The colors are nice warm tones and whites and would suit a heroic character.

Plus, it even has the sort of "limited exclusivity" that Shattered Glass toys are famous for!

Though, this is Hasbro Asia, rather than Takara.

So glad this looks so awful. I was only interested in the cassettes but they're simply wretched. Glad for money saved.

True but by the time of last year the preorder for YotH is all over, this year I haven't heard anything from domestic retailers, BBTS, tfsource etc.

That does remind me, I got my YotS stuff in the middle of the (lunar) year, and YotD OP by the end of Dragon year, for a steal price though. Guess I'll have to wait the YotG stuff until summer time.

I visited a TRU today, and they still had a YOTH Starscream. And not just an old banged up one, it was a minty one (!), one they didn't have last week and that is very clearly case fresh.
