Generations Super Buggy stand-in?

I'm in search of a sort of "Generations"/"Classics" stand in for the Diaclone character Super Buggy which accompanied the original Powered Convoy (blue/black/red/gray Ultra Magnus). He's basically a small red dune buggy that parts-forms into a robot:

Does anyone have any ideas of what figure I could use? I want it to fit in scale with DIA Commander/Classics Ultra Magnus. It's fine if the figure is the wrong color as I'm willing to repaint it myself if need be. The main factors are the appearance in vehicle mode and robot mode being as close to the original as possible (though I'm not entirely opposed to something slightly more detailed/modern etc.).

Yep, that's definitely on my list. I've got the beige/brown version of him (Hunt for he Decepticons I think?). Repainting it shouldn't be difficult.

Any other thoughts?

Kind of reminds me of Countdown (the micromaster version that is)

Universe Roadhandler (Armada Incinerator minicon)

Universe Roadhandler certainly resembles Super Buggy, but since it's an Armada mold I don't think it really works as a "Classics-verse/Generations" version of the character.

Why not Cybertron Swerve?

Whoa, I think that really works. The smaller size goes well with the DIA Commander trailer as well considering that it only has a small amount of room in the back to fit him in.

Thanks :D!

A great mold (I own it, along with several repaints of it), but it doesn't scream "buggy" to me. More like "futuristic sports car" (i.e. Hot Rod).
