Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

Thanks FG, I first mention that cycle shortly after it's revealed at the panel and get no credit for it.
On a more serious note, with the better photos coming out now, it looks like this upcoming year is going to be pretty sweet.

i think it would be great if the G.I. Joe toys become the head of the Transformers or the Transformers serve as body armor to the G.I. Joe toys.

Hasbro rep asked at second new product panel about the terrordrome from yesterdays pictures.
Stated it is only a diorama piece.
But the big new today so far is Mecha, in late 2010.

That crossover looks cook, better than that TMNT and batman one. Im on the edge about getting the Rise of Cobra PIT command center is it worth the $100 price tag?

That cycle armor does look cool, as well as several of the upcoming figures. Hasbro has mentioned in a couple of interview that they had planed to do two more playsets before the end of the movie line, but maybe they changed there mind because the pitt playset wasn't selling well. Oh well who can ever guess what a big company has planed things change day to day and month to month. I'm just glad were getting some cool stuff for 2010 since there seems to nothing coming out of transformers side of hasbro, also has anyone found a dragon hawk or crimson hydra since original release at start of august.

Oh you're evil Editor
It was your post on the cycle that made me search for it. If someone had posted a link or something to it they MAY have gotten some credit.

Saw both at TRU when I got the pitt commando. Think I'll get the Dragonhawk first.

THEE coolest thing I saw in the pics was the JUNGLE VIPER. Looks like a new age type of soldier...I love how that reflective drape looks like wings. Speaking of wings, I think the new Ripcord with the armor and wings is damn fine.
I am also impressed with the new Zartan, and the all ARCTIC based stuff. The new Recondo and Beachhead look excellent!!!

I actually just bought both from Walmart this past Friday. Grabbed another PITT COmmando too.
And I would be a little miffed about a FLAGG, but a new Terrordrome, I can get into, even though I do have the original.

I've finally watch Resolute, which I loved. Great animation and story. Definitely didn't see some major characters' deaths coming, which was a shock.
As for JoeCon, I also love that winged Jungle Viper. That looks wild!

I just got the RHINO from target what an awsome vechile and it was on $40 on sale. Still a pass on the PITT playset not worth $100.00. New figs look great.

I have noticed that stores have a ton of the rise of cobra 3.75" figs, man they are just not selling like the 25th ann ones. I remmber having to be at walmart at midnight, when the trucks came in. All the majoir stores around me were always sold out, even over priced K-mart. Was it the shinny 25th silver logos that got our attention. As soon as Hasbro stopped this it seemed like noone wanted them anymore and pegs were filled with repackaged figs in plan looking cards with no 25th logos.

Thanks to the folks at
GeneralJoes.com, we get some new info about soon to be released GI Joe Rise of Cobra figure showcased at GI Joe Con 2009 that look an awful lot like a Transformers Crossover. The only exception to this is that the 3/4 inch scale figure the vehicle is meant for actually combines with it to for a "Robotechesque" body armor.
The Ashiko figure with Cycle Armor is part of the Alpha Vehicle Wave 1 figures set for release sometime in 2010. No word on whether or not there will be more figures like this, but given the immense popularity of the Transformers brand it's definitely a possiblity.
Only noticed the pics to begin with, but now that I've read the post I'm happy to see someone else thought of the Veritech Cyclone mecha from Robotech.
My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

I have to say no one seems to be talking about anything other than cycle armor, it's cool and all but there were other vehicles shown off during convention. I have to say it cool that were finally get a hiss tank with really work treads, and some of the other figures were pretty cool as well, the one that caught my eye in the pictures that were released is the new beachhead, as well as the shadow tracker who kind of looks like the predator. The problem I have with the jungle viper is the figure looks like a gundam human hybrid.

What about the convention exclusives? I'm sensing a conscious shift away from being American. I don't think the fans are going to like that. 12" siegie? Crimson copter? Oh yeah, I knew they were going to use the RHINO copter for something.

I really didn't care for this years convention exclusives they were just the fixed up viper mold repainted in crimson colors with a set repainted crimson twins and a repainted bareness thrown in. The command copter looked o.k., as far the shift away from g.i. joe being american, I think that has slowly been happening for awhile they have always had international members like big ben from england. I'm sure there are more but I just can't name them off the top of my head. It just that we didn't get a lot of the international team member figures here in united states, but I think hasbro has started to realize that american has become a lot more of a global community so there trying to expand g.i. joe to meet that end.

Um, I think it's far simpler than that, mate: they just want to be able to market this crap internationally without having to call it "Action Force" and get blamed of pro-US propaganda.
