Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to find Gobots for really cheap that are unbroken. You'll have to hunt them down. Good luck!
Does not compute...
Anyway, just to throw my two cents into the conversation, I had both Gobots and Transformers as a kid, and enjoined both a lot. That being said, while I wouldn't turn my nose up at them if I had an opportunity to get some, Gobots just don't have the same nostalgia fuel for me that Transformers do.
I think it has to do with the relitive availability of both as modern toys. Transformers, for over ten years now I have been able to buy new, updated versions of the toys and/or characters I loved as a child. Gobots only recently started doing such a thing, and there it is in the form of import-only Machine Robo toys. They look cool, but they come out with a very slow frequency, and are $40 a pop for a roughly deluxe sized figure. It just seems like too much for two little if I wanted to create a modernized Gobots collection as I have with Transformers.
