The teaser trailer to Godzilla 2014 by Legendary Pictures finally made its way onto the internet!

This isn't a BS fan-made one made by some low life asshole either, it's the real deal and it's beautiful to finally see it! :D

Edit:
Too slow, WB has taken it down.

Warner Bros is doing this?At first i though it was fake because of the way name was written.
Looks interresting.

It redirects you because they took it down, as it turns out the trailer was leaked and was originally meant to be released in November.

I bloody love Godzilla but when I click on the link to Megaupload there is simply a loading screen and nothing being downloaded.

WHERE IS MY GODZILLA TRAILER, DEAD METAL? WHERE?

Weird, still works for me, it's not an automatic download by the way, the loading screen shows up, then it gives you a button to download it, and before you do that you have to agree to their terms and conditions.
If it's still not working, pm me your e-mail.

You're a gentleman. That trailer was bloody epic. A multi-armed foe, a destroyed city littered with corpses... they've certainly gone darker in tone, which can only be a good thing when considering it's Godzilla.

I can't wait.

No prob.
Yup, it's going to be epic, can't wait to see Big G ripping through the Vishnu monster (can't think of anything else to call it right now) while leveling a thriving metropolis. =P~

At 1st I really didn't give a **** about this, but the more I see it the more interesting it becomes. Mainly because Bryan Cranston.

I really wish I could see the appeal of a movie about a giant monster destroying stuff, but I just can't.

That's it. A giant monster destroying stuff. That's the appeal.

Of course, there might be other themes as well, I saw the older films when I was young and back then I enjoyed them. I tried to watch some of them recently, and found myself feeling like I was watching Power Rangers. Kept waiting for Megazord to show up any minute.

This newer film seems to be a lot of fun, with destruction in the vain of Pacific Rim, which might have been influenced by Godzilla. I am probably in the extreme minority of people who actually liked the 1998 Godzilla movie, mainly for its sheer destruction. I couldn't care less if he didn't look like the "traditional" giant lizard. The same reason is why I will be seeing this new one. And Bryan Cranston. Awesome actor.

Might have? They flat-out call their monsters Kaiju.

He could give the worst performance of his career and he'd still be far and away better than Matthew Broderick.

The trailers so far are making this film look simply epic. I love that they aren't revealing too much about the plot and monster himself in them too. Seriously excited now!

For some reason the image won't show up, so here's a link to EMPIRE Magazine's cover with Godzilla on it.

Some might say they they can't see the appeal in giant robots beating the crap out of each other.
Different strokes for different folks, I love Godzilla laying waste to entire cities, robots, aliens and other giant monsters and others don't.

RP, that pic does not seem to show up, and if I right click to view it all it does is bring me to the front page of commingsoon.

So anybody else think we're getting a flying monster in this?
We already know of one monster which is supposed to be a sort of spider like creature and may actually be a swarm like thing with multiple of them showing up.
But the trailer has this show of three plastic flying things (kinda look like pterodactyls) on a mobile and later when the jets get tossed into the ocean the last shot kinda looks like an organic thing with wings wrapped around it diving into the ocean.

God I can't wait, this is the one movie I'm actually looking forward to this year and it's actually the most important movie franchise to get a new entry this year.
Here is for another 60 years! :D

I read as well that he will be taking on multiple monsters. So instead of human military vs. Godzilla, it seems it will truly be a monster flick. :D Me like.

I'm guessing that was not-at-all-thinly-veiled shot at Age of Extinction, and if that's the case, I disagree. I will always place TF-related stuff above other franchises even if it's Bayverse. I am looking forward to AoE more than Godzilla, even if it might come off as Grimlock being a Mechagodzilla rip-off.

Jup, it really seems like it's monsters murdering each other while barely noticing the human armies attacking them.

Not just that, but RoboCop, Hobbit, even Marvel. The original Godzilla is not only a classic, but also one of the most important movies in cinematic history, basically starting the whole Japanese giant monster genre, which then developed into the Japanese superhero genre (eg Power Rangers etc), and created a whole new special effects technology.

So this is kinda like a Star Wars movie coming out.

The only thing that could overshadow this is if we would also get a remake of "The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms", which is what inspired Toho to make Godzilla in the first place.

Well, at least a chance that Godzilla will be a total failure is much smaller.

So far I stay neutral: There is nor reason to be sceptic, yet despite big title there is no some great news so far either. However, I gonna watch it for sure, just because all this fun I had watching Godzilla as a kid.

I've watched a different trailer in theaters and it's bone chilling. I'm super pumped on this Godzilla. The most exiting part is the emphasis on size. They're making this Godzilla enormous.
In a scale that if you were on the ground looking at him\her you wouldn't every fully see the full monster.
Plus my GF is stoked too. WHich adds to the anticipation. To be honest i'm more interested in Godzilla than i am TF4.
