Grimlok in WoW

I was just playing WoW and I was in the Uldaman dungeon where I encountered a boss named Grimlok(Grimlock without the "c"). Not only is the name almost the same, he has an almost identical catch phrase. "Me Grimlok, the King." The only uncool thing is that he's a stupid troll. Why not make him something more cool like a golem? That would make more sense and more fitting to the character.

If Grimlok was a troll that would be rad. However he was just a Trogg.

But then when you think about it, the only kind of creature that would talk like that, aside from an Ogre, would be a Trogg, so their choice was decent.

Theres also Prince Adam Eternium in Shattrath city. The homages are plentiful and awesome in WoW.

I saw a boss char in Everquest 2 call Bruticus I was like oh ok that is why I couldn't pick the name but the fact that it was a pretty strong npc to fight made it realy cool ^^

they always make homages there is an O'Rly owl in WoW for crying out loud, and an Ogre that says You're the man now Dog.

Also side not it may not be named after Grimlok since "Grimlock" is the name of a species of monster in D@D that live mainly underground.

I saw a guy called 'Arcee' on WoW the other day and thought 'wahey, fellow fan' but when I asked him about it he said he'd just made the name up but when you put it in google a load of 'stuff about big robots comes up'. Gotta go find me that Grimlok, where is that dungeon?

Doomulus Prime is just a mace, but still. If there are more, I can't think of them offhand.

Uldaman is mid to upper 30's. And as long as you're there, enjoy the Raiders of the Lost Ark bit with the staff.
