Too many conspiracy theories, not enough logic

Terrorcon cliffy and the vehicon didnt get domestic release in fe as far as im aware. The rest did, i know this because i own them. They werent hard to buy either. If you want them, Theyre coming out via takara too. As for the whole 'they wont release fe figures in rid' argument..... Seriously?????? Its the same show!!!!!! why on earth wouldnt they???? The whole 'they did this to animated' thing is crap too. They killed the line, they saw its popularity, they wanted a united continuity so they killed it. Generations should do animated, but so far it doesnt. And the unreleased figures were REPAINTS! Fine we never got deluxe wingblade prime, but tbh it wudda sucked, the takara version was better. These fe figs were figures made for generations and somewhere along the line they decided to switch it to a kiddie friendly line. Its not like fe figures are solid gold a-grade bits of engineering. Theyre good but nobody should be obsessing over this, if we demand it, they could see the light of day in later waves, which are probably decided months in advance

This may be a case of Hasbro not wanting to pay some sort of licensing or distribution fee to Takara for the use of their FE molds in addition to what they'll be paying for the rest of the line.

I'll wait patiently to see if this really happens.

Funny that you posted that Bee-ship one. I just saw it in a Japanese toy store the other day. Obviously not Hasbro though.
The point is that Hasbro promised years ago that they would try to get these out eventually, and now they're promising us the same about the First Editions. This is promise that they did not keep before. Why should we believe them now?

Well that was at the end of Animated wasn't it? Prime is just starting so there's a big window ahead for Prime figures.
There are two Prime toylines. First Edition and Robots in Disguise. First Edition never made it past the Wave 1 Deluxes, so its missing figures are just like the missing final Animated figures. And the final DOTM toys are still missing too. And the final Reveal the Shield toys are missing, along with only a select few that were actually made being rejected by big retailers and so went to Market Six stores, which many still consider as being "missing" as well. That makes THREE toylines that got shafted in their final waves, and every promise Hasbro has made about trying to release them later has either been broken or skewed. Prime First Edition doesn't look to be any different, as its just as desired by the fandom as those other canceled figures were.

They could easily release the FE in future waves of the Prime toyline since they are Prime figures.
They could, yes, but that doesn't men they will.

There was a suggestion that Hasbro could release the remaining Animated figures in the Generations line, but they didn't.

And, the missing Reveal the Shield figures also could have been released in the Market Six stores with the few that did show up in those places, but they weren't either.

As I said, I'll believe it when the FE figures actually show up in stores.

We all know the story of what happened with animated and RTS, and how BS it was (trust me, I was pissed. You know how long it took me to get lugnut?) But that is no indication that it will happened here. Its entierly possible that the F.E. will be released in RID later on down the road. Just look up what happened with "Air Attack" Optimus Primal and Megatron Megabolt back in '01 (Oddly enough, also released durring the RID line...)

One thing you have to remember is that Hasbro was a different company then. They couldn't afford to eat the molds on those two figures since it would severely affect their bottom line. Now they can just pump out a Prime or BB to cover the costs.

I'm just going to b*tch a little here.

This is TF:A all over again. Hasbro makes all these great figures/repaints, but due to delaying the line, most of those are either foreign exclusives or completely cancelled. The movies just override everything, so retailers mainly want the movie toys on their shelves, not the non-movie stuff. Movie shelf-warmers (aka Skids/Mudflap, who really shouldn't haven't gotten DOTM toys) take up space, along with over-shipped/heavily repainted toys like Bumblebee. We'll be lucky if they release all the RiD toys. :BOOM:

I have to say that this is the first time that I've noticed stores not ordering last waves of a line. It's happening with a lot of lines not just Transformers.

I am slowly removing myself from collecting transformers just like I stopped collecting hot wheels after what Mattel did to the club members. I am not pleased with Prime RID. I have the FE pink Arcee and I like the mold. No amount of jargon will sell me on the deluxe RID version after I saw it. It seems corporations are getting greedier and greedier every year. Cutting costs to literally put an inferior product in your face after dangling a superior one. Shame on ya' Hasbro.

That's what is so confusing to me here. HOW are they cutting costs, making brand new molds when they already have the FE ones? It doesn't make sense to me why Hasbro would choose to do this. Molds are a significant expense. If the per-part price of the new design is cheaper, then why come out with the FEs in the first place?
