I think the new head is meant to be based on the WFC Omega Supreme game model, like how the new claw is.KUMA-NIN Maximus wrote:paul053 wrote:Omega is definitely want, but isn't his head kind of look too small? Now working on finding a spare spot for him.............
Quite honestly, I was thinking the same thing. I assume that they are aiming for a more G1-ish head, but I feel that it could be a bit bigger. Besides that, I think that if my finances improve, I might consider seeking out his Japanese Energon counterpart.

As for why it's smaller, maybe they got rid of the Headmaster gimmick and had to make the head small enough to fit underneath the Vehicle Mode and be hidden away in that form

I couldn't agree more

I thought he was cute-ish when I believed it was a basic but learning that it's even tinier than that has made me forgive the poor articulation. I'm going to be all over this stuff if the rest of the terrorcons receive legion figures as well. I'm going to be all over this little fellow in any case.
In other words, because they were blocky bricks with barely any details instead of streamlined, smooth-surfaced figures with curved designs and exceptional articulation.gothsaurus wrote:I think I'm jumping ship. It just looks like toddler toys.
The reason animals (ie. dinosaurs and insects) worked well in G1 was because they were mech-dinosaurs and insects.
The G1 Predacons looks way more cutesy and adorable than these. These look more in the vein of the Fuzors and Transmetal 2s (minus the chrome) of the latter Beast Wars toyline and the Jungle Planet figures of the Cybertron toyline.gothsaurus wrote:I don't want cartoon-animals... or monster faces on the robot-modes... or superhero head cowls... or Gene Simmons spikes on everything as a complete afterthought. Funny, I think this is the first time I've ever heard anyone refer to KISS or Mad Max as being "kiddie".gothsaurus wrote:Ah well. Generations and Masterpiece will keep me busy, Hasbro. If you want to put out a kiddie-line of monsters and KISS/RoadWarrior mashup vehicles... I'll just sit this one out.

Everything else is meh. The beast hunters sorta had me, but they look like crap in robot mode. Shame.
THIS is the Year of the Snake version. The one we saw before was the Energon toy being used as a placeholder.ViperEye82 wrote:MINDVVIPE wrote:Okay, so.... I NEED THAT OMEGA SURPEME!

So do I...but...I'm totally confused. What OS is that? The year of the snake version is blue and red, this one is G1 colors. SO....which one is it?
