HASBRO AGAIN DELIVERS COVETED SPECIAL EDITION TOYS AT COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL,

Pawtucket, R.I. – July 15, 2013 — Continuing a highly anticipated annual tradition, Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS) is coming to Comic-Con International in San Diego, California, with a wide selection of special edition action figures and toys that are set to be some of the most coveted items available at the show. The special edition figures are drawn from the lore of some of Hasbro’s most popular brands, as well as comics, animated series and video games. Fans can expect special edition figures from Hasbro’s G.I. I understand the allure of con exclusives, but as a company trying to make money by selling toys, it's hard to believe they wouldn't want to capitalize on the Metroplex anticipation/demand (even charging extra for arguably silly enhancements to the vanilla Metro). That's not to say I believe in Hasbro's corporate leadership and past decision-making abilities, however, so... 
It's one thing to do your convention in San Diego... but it's another thing entirely to do BOTH BIG CONVENTIONS in San Diego! 
I'm not sure who to blame, but I do protest this loudly. The two conventions are so close together (spatially AND chronologically) that I'm not even sure why they're separate at this point!
