Ironically I got a 500 error when I hit reply.

That's caused from too much traffic. A simple refresh and done. It's annoying yeah, but not a major issue.

did the mission generator die? been trying to refresh for a new mission and not even a 1-11 will populate..

Seems a few things are dead right now.

CR, for example. Damaged units were being counted as active units, despite being in CR. Now, repairing them is simply not a function.

EDIT: Trying to start CR manually will take your energon, but the CR process will not start. (a warning to those wishing to try)

Thanks for letting me know. I'm currently making some changes which are all behind-the-scenes stuff, nothing that will change how the game works or is viewed. Basically all I'm changing is_active database fields from a char(1) field to a tinyint(1) field. Minor difference, but it will make the HMW code compatible with my automatic code generator, and technically use of integers is faster. If you see anything acting odd, please let me know immediately so that I can look back into it. Just wanted to let you know because I'm about to manually change about 60 files in HMW.

Still working on it right now ... will let you guys know when I'm finished.

Fingers crossed that all of the hundreds of changes I made manually this afternoon were correct! If you run into a problem later today, please let me know. It's possible that there will remain a problem with anything that was trying to process during the time from of when I made all of these changes this afternoon.

If there is a problem, please provide me with a URL so that I can track down the issue in the code. Thanks!

Well... I can't activate any of my bots now from the registry page.

Had a few active earlier during the no mission generation stint, but they were forced into the inactive group suddenly.

Earlier when they were in the CR chamber they were still active as well. Now all are inactive, but I can't activate them.

Not sure how far through you are with the changes, but I am currently unable to activate characters although those still activated from last time I played around a month ago are still active. No error message is being returned. Team link, trying to activate Zombi Cheerleader.

I appear to be able to join missions without a problem with my active guys though.

Well, at least I got to send 2 of my team on the new types of missions, which they apparently completed and got xp for, before the inevitable malfunction.

Not that I have anything but praise for Seib for upgrading a game he was going to let die just a few years ago, before changing his mind in response to our pleas. Looking forward to all the new text once things unfreeze.

Like others have mention, I can't activate my troops. It did let me put one manually into the cr chamber but haven't checked to see if it was working.

I can't activate my chracters in the registry. Trying to select them to activate, and 'activate' goes through without issue, but all characters are still registered as inactive. Also I cant manually logout without getting an error message. If I clear my browser cache am lagged out, but cannot do so manualy with 'logout'. Am able to upgrade characters, purchase items as normal and access bios.

Ryan's aware of the activation issue. I've been out all day so haven't really been able to follow up with him about it.

You probably shouldn't be seeing those missions either.

Seems CR is working correctly now, missions are spawning, and units can be activated. Seeing a LOT of new mission brackets, too! Thank you!

You should be able to activate your characters again. There may be other areas of the game that I will need to make this same change, but I didn't see any other examples with a quick search through the code.

If there are other issues that need to be addressed, I will take a look at it later.

Well, I can send my troops into missions now, but sort of blind because I get an error message when I try to view a mission, past or present.

Other than that, the mechanics seem to be working fine again!

Thanks, I "fixed" the error, sort of, more or less with a band-aid. Not happy at all with how that code is written. Several functions are declared more than once, which shouldn't be how this works at all. Usually if a function is re-declared, it should cause an error, but it's not for some reason that I haven't figured out yet.

Can someone point me in the direction of how to access all of your mission and arena logs? Does it always have to be accessed from a character's page instead of it being a master list of logs?

Personally my first port of call is the HMW Front Page.

It shows the last six missions/arena battles I've participated in.
Then there's the individual character pages which shows the last six missions/arena battles the character has fought in.

Other than that I don't think there's any way for us to go back any further.

I ran across something similar when I tried the minicon page. I was curious about what worked even if minicons haven't been used in years.
