Personally, I've always liked the idea of being allowed to use our teams as... well teams. Ive seen the arguments time and again, but maybe, with a new game, it could be time to try and work it into the game. If we have less missions with bigger soldier limits, then it's harder to exploit than it would be if you filled an entire mission with your team. Even if we are limited to say, 3 members of one team in each mission, it'd be an improvment.

1:4 ratio perhaps?

Say a mission has max members of 4, then only 1 of yours will be pulled from the que.

If it has 8, then 2 of yours will be pulled in.

If it has 20 (and I would hope we could get 20 on 20 missions) then you'd pull in 4.

There's actually a couple of different ways it can work, i'll spend some time after work tonight pulling the various "defend" ideas together and see what our combined stupidism can come up with.

Maybe as a penalty have them show up late in the fight? This will allow those people who want to log on go to a screen, select all ,enter (basically what the arena currently is if you have auto CR)then log off to continue whatever they were doing (writing a paper, doing HW, working ect).

What do people think of this idea?

From reading the posts my question is: Will we be able to activate all of our tfs at one time? All 12 at once instead of 6? Sitting around idle is really boring if we can get more in the missions from our teams is it possible to get all of our team members active at once?

I like this idea keeping it Ratio'd and having only a percentage of your team that can enter missions. Not having say your entire team in 1 mission.

It's a very old fact. It's a simplification of the way "Mob Mentality" works. Men in Black didn't coin the term.

So then you're saying the Enchanted creature gains trample, and if all non-wall creatures of mine attack then this creature gains +*/+0 until end of turn, where * is equal to the number of attacking creatures?

One of the main appeals of HMW is character creation and the creativity surrounding our wonderful multicoloured icons. So would V2 allow for pics and/or links to be added to our chars Bio's?

Not a big fan of the 6 on 1 or 1 on 6 in missions. Almost would rather wait till they are totally full before they start. Or at least some ratio, like what was discussed.

As far as wishes:

Strength = attack power with melee weapons or no weapons
Endurance = more resiliant to damage. (Noticably) and able to wear better armor.
Intelligence = Smarter attack pattern to single out the weaker enemy first or learn new special tactics
Speed = The same as how it behaves now
Courage = The same as how it behaves now
Rank = Allow extra moves per team, like "Velocitron leads a concentrated attack on Douchobot" All Decepticons gain 10 XP and Douchobot loses 50 Health. Velocitron gains 20 XP.
Skill = Able to learn new manuevers and weild certain weapons
Firepower = How much damage a projectile weapon induces.

An App would make it much easier to play the game rather than going through the process it takes to sign in, select bot and send them off. If you don't have anything intelligent or helpful to say, keep your comments to yourself so you don't sound like an idiot.

Why is having an app to play on your phone easier a bad thing (unless your reason for not wanting one is enitrly selfish)?

I havnt got an iPhone, but I'd imagine it'd make the game more populer (and therefore give us more oponanats/allies) if the game could be easily played on it. That said, im guessing it'd take a fair bit of knoladge on the specifics of iPhone programming and I would wonder if he'd have the tiem to learn em just for a free job he's doing.

As far as I know there's no current plans for a mobile version. If such a thing were to be undertaken i'd much rather see it done for the whole site rather than just a section of it.

Now before people get up in arms about the benefits of a mobile version, you don't need to. I know the benefits are there. And for those who think it wouldn't be fair because it'll give people more time to play, well you know, get over that. People can sit in front of their computer 18 hours a day and no one has a problem with that.

That's not true. There was a time a few years ago when people where complaining that there needed to be a time limit to how long a person could play the game everyday. "I can't catch up to so-and-so in the ranks, they play to much. It's not fair." was the basic arguement.
