Takara Tomy & Paramount Pictures Japan will release the Japanese version of Transformers Animated DVD in the second quarter of the year.
So far 2 DVDs has been announced:



DVD Volume 1:
- Consists of Episode 1 to Episode 4
- Japanese Language Dolby Sound
- Release Date: 6th August 2010



DVD Volume 2:
- Consists of Episode 5 to Episode 8
- Japanese Language Dolby Sound
- Release Date: 10th September 2010

Both of the DVDs come with a free Sega Game Card for the Transformers Animated Arcade games - The Chase & The Shoot.

So much for those of us hoping for an English track. Plenty of Japanese DVDs offer them, so I was hopeful. Ah well, my son can watch Season 3 online.

Too bad these DVDs aren't coming with super-duper limited editions like Galaxy Force.
