I did not forget that but he was the strongest of the decepticons, look what it took to kill him, he was frozen in ice for thousands of years, fought optimus prime and had an all out assault thrown at him from the military and then had the allspark shoved in his chest burning a hole and killing him so obviously he's stronger and could withstand all of those things without a protoform shell.

He didn't even have time to shed anything or scan for earth forms, before he froze.

Really odd. He didn't froze during the transit. And he didn't burn up as he approaches the sun.

Hmm, ok, where did it say in the movie that he approached the sun ?

If you came from another galaxy, or from another planetary system for that matter, your direction of travel will be from pluto or whatever the edge of the Solar System is, towards the Sun.

But of course, you don't reach the Sun. You'll stop at the 3rd planet from the Sun, called Earth.

So that's technically, and actually, approaching the Sun.

Unless he originated from the deep ocean, just like Supergirl. Then he may or may not be approaching the Sun.

Dealing with the temperatures even plus 250 degrees farenheit in space would not be enough to harm a transformer let alone any man made spacecraft, the Sabot rounds alone are much hotter than that so if they can track an allspark through space I think they have little to fear from your average star like earths temperatures.
