The premise of this game is simple: Identify an enemy altmode you want for one of your minions. Hunt it down, scan its corpse 20 times and bring that data back to the Senate.

When you have 20 scans, we at the Senate will reformat your soldier into the alt you have selected.

And there you have it!


What's that Psychout? We can steal any alt we want from our opponents? Wow!
That's right kids!
1) Choose the alt you want from these lists :BOT: or :CON:
2) Find an opponent formatted to use that altmode.
3) Kill it. Kill it again. Kill it some more. Kill it harder. Keep killing!
4) Brag about all the killing in the claims thread!!
5) ?????
6) PROFIT!!


20 kills are all that's needed to get that toaster you’ve always wanted!

However, its not very likely that the alt will be easy to find nor that it will be the same level as you, so unfortunately there have to be some 'special' rules:


If you can't find the alt you want
Ask. Most people want a rare or maybe even a unique alt, some want an alt from their own side but on a different class of transformer. Post your request in the chatter and banter thread as listed below and one of the Senate will give you a challenge to allow you to earn that ramming seeker or avoiding battlestation you have always wanted.
Alts will be applied to a nominated member of your team but the better the bio they have, their better their choices...
If you decide you want a Jet alt but have no bio written for your Character then you will need to reset back to a jet before the staff will update your alt. Spend a bit of time explaining why your Autobot Seeker likes to Repair instead of Strafe however, and the staff will allow you to mix and match your alt class and your alt image whichever way you want!
The awarded lasts until you reset it, after that, you get to hunt it down all over again! Yay!
No, it will not be given back to you if you 'accidentally' reset your character, that's just dumb.
Arena battles only count as half (because the Arena sucks.)
Duh!
There is no limit to the number of alts you can hunt
Feel free to keep coming back for more...


How to make a claim post:
Record the mission’s link once it’s done, then post it along with the alt you want. Edit the following victories into your post and then when you have scored the required kills bring it to the attention of the Senate via PM, and we’ll take it from there.


Too post the image of the alt you want simply copy this bit of code, copy the link of the image you want and post it all.

For those who are yet to try it, Heavy Metal War is the online battle between good and evil, and is unique to SEIBERTRON.com.
Fight your way to the top and meet and kill allies and enemies to either defend of conquer Cybertron. This alt hunt is but one of the many sub-games run for the ever-growing HMW community.

Ummmmmmmmmmm...there have been alts that are faction-exclusive all along?

Sheesh, you think you know the game you've been playing for a year and a half...

Unless this somehow allows me to turn my one non-entity into an Allicon, (and I can't remember who has a Sharkticon besides Name_Violation, so I doubt it) I'm not particularly interested. He used to be a T-rex/Shark fuzor before he went extinct and became an intangible force, so I think I can whip up a bio that'll rationalize that just fine...unless making up a bio this late is breaking the rules.

Any new contest is welcome though, so I'll be giving my top 4 some long-overdue upgrades to celebrate.

Lol, I'm not the only one who wants an allicon.

Also I have the only sharkticon (except Mkall who has one that has the sharkticon class and the bite attack instead of ram, but that was a trial thing).

So if i get this right. My Con will have to hunt down the one alt mode and kill it 20 times and that one Con will get the alt mode.

Oohh sound like fun. The Bots have same of the alt modes my team need I shell hunt them down and kill them.

I would really like to have my Inferno Prime have the TF Cybertron Optimus Prime alt mode, but have the capabilities of a Tank. Is that possible?

Given that we lost one staff member and the other two can't be bothered to turn up, I don't really want to say yes otherwise it'll open a floodgate that will make me do a Ultra Magnus.

If this is still available, I'd like to make a battle station out of TFC Optimus Prime mode (Heavy Rescue Vehicle). Since, in the show he can fly, it would be quite apropos to have him in that form... if respectably possible.

If you look at the alt list. We can change one for one that exists in the game.

Never did finish that last hunt for 'noichi's attempt at long while ago. Wanna try giving it a go again.
edit: not seeing a lot of bots... if any are actively left using that one.
