A small interview with Transformers Movie Line Producer Ian Bryce has appeared on SyFyPortal. Bryce comments in the article about the movie and using practical photography.

"I think that as much practical photography as you can get is the best. I think the audience is so sophisticated these days that they can tell what's computer-generated, what's animatronic, what's not real. So we certainly like to capture as much original photography as we can, and then enhance it with the CG shots".

Reading stuff like this excites me. It's cool to know that the newest technology is being used for the Transformer movie.

I agree, CGI has come a long way, but nothing looks more real than real!

Also, has anyone else had a problem with the user comment tab?

"He's great. I love that robot. I think he's awesome. We're going to sell a lot of toys."

I hope that wasnt the main aim of the film.
