Idea for a 3rd party set for MP Seekers

I was looking at Ryan’s latest gallery for MP Skywarp. It gave me idea for a cool 3rd party product. So I posted it up here hoping that I can start a buzz. Maybe someday someone might actually produce it. I would think my idea would most be suited for a 3rd party company like Fans Want It or Crazy Devy. Or maybe Igear since they already have the part molded.

Anyway’s, my idea is a conversion kit for the Hasbro versions of MP Starscream, Skywarp, and the rumored Thundercracker if it too is the old mold. I have seen some people remove the jet kibble on the hips and peg it to the legs. Some sand off the ball joints. Others cover them up with plugs that give the appearance of “wide” feminine hips. I propose somebody mold the waist and hip piece without the ball joints in all three seeker colors. I don’t know how well the jet kibble holds on the legs with the single peg. But if it is loose, maybe they could devise a clip that holds it on tighter if needed. Something that allows you to transform him without the jet kibble falling off, thus making the figure feel like it was the new mold.

Will somebody please take my idea and roll with it??? Go head, steal my intellectual property, I don’t give a damn. Just make it happen and keep the price reasonable. $20-25 maybe?

So any feedback on this idea would be appreciated. If you know some 3rd party guys who might see the potential, please bring it to their attention. Thanks.

There's more differences that just that. You'd need new hip pieces, new legs, and a new head at least. Never mind the new null rays and whatever they did to the arms to make that work out. The wings have also been changed to be more durable; I don't think that's something they can adapt.

I never noticed the new head. But my main priority is to get rid of that annoying hip kibble without customizing the figure and hurting it's value. Just some simple unscrewing and swapping. Especially for MP Ghost Starscream that will probally never get redone in the new mold.

Well, people are just now making more Cliffjumper heads, so I guess there may be a market for replacement hip pieces for the MP Seekers even after all this time. Those "swords" reach past the feet, so permenantly stowing them on his legs would still hinder posability and look wierd if he's standing normally, so I wouldn't be interested in the set. But it's cheaper than the iGear set, if you already have the Seekers themselves.

So the "swords" are longer ? How did that customizer who first did the coneheads modify them ??? Maybe a similar modification can be done. Or they could throw in a new tail piece that doesnt obstruct the feet.

His legs are spread wide to compensate. It's not terribly longer, but it's still long enough to look wrong to me.
