This is a revision of D-Maximal_Primal's earlier list with a slightly different structure. I started by editing his post but quickly realized the narrative didn't fit the structure to his original (and correct based on what we knew at the time!) post's layout and I didn't want to completely go wreck the entire thing on him. That said, he deserves a ton of credit for being way ahead of the curve on this, and using his post as a starting point made this, well, possible! Probably would not have bothered without the head start so, hey, thanks D-Max
Oh, and hey, this is
Spoiler packed for all of IDW Transformers but hopefully if you're browsing this thread you already knew that.
The assumption is that for each of The Thirteen original "Primes", there is an associated Titan, Colony world, and Regenesis Ore. Not everything matches up cleanly yet, and it remains to be seen if
all of the associations will be revealed by the time the continuity ends. D-Maximal-Primal originally associated an "Artifact" with each Prime as that was what the Aligned Continuity did and, when the concept started to become more fleshed out in IDW, it appeared this would be the case as well. While it holds for some, it doesn't for others so this will only be noted when present/known and not for every Prime. I have followed this whittling down of information a little further and only called out any associated "special" types of Transformers related to a given Prime when this is known to exist.
The Thirteen
To begin with, here are the cases where we know a "full set" of information consisting of a Prime, Titan, Colony, and Ore - though some of the finer points may still be a mystery!
Prima- Titan: Emissary
- Colony: Elonia
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: 12, name currently unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Bonds to other lifeforms becoming a suit of armor. This armor can change shape by the will of the user (seen in the 2017 Rom: Annual) but this power has been rarely explored.
- Artifact: The Star Saber, not to be confused with the Transformer of the same name. As the hilt of the sword was the Matrix of Leadership and Shockwave needed to ensure it was passed to Nova Prime, the sword has presumably been otherwise destroyed.
- Related Transformers: In a special case this is not actually a group of Transformers, however for these purposes the Knights of the Solstar Order (which at one point did include the Transformer known as Stardrive) could be considered the related "type".
- Prima's Status: Deceased. Prima was killed by Megatronus on Tsiehshi.
- Emissary's Status: Deceased. When Emissary's Spacebridge tech unintentionally interfered with Wheeljack's array of devices intended to transport the Elonians off world during Unicron's attack on the planet, Arcee took initiative and killed Emissary by throwing her swords into his exposed brain module.
- Elonia's Status: Consumed by Unicron.
The Arisen/Optimus Prime(Assumed to be The Arisen out of convenience, but may not be!)- Titan: Metrotitan
- Colony: Earth
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: 13, Power
- Regenesis Ore Power: Whatever the plot dictates Ore 13 yields Ultra Energon that makes a Transformer super powerful for a limited amount of time. This power has been harnessed by other villains such as Baron Karza.
- Artifact: Matrix of Leadership
- Optimus Prime's Status: Fightin' round the world!
- Metrotitan's Status: Deceased. Metrotitan was fatally shot by a blast from The Nemesis, Shockwave's spaceship, after returning to Cybertron to attempt to stop his plans in Optimus Prime #17.
- Earth's Status: I don't know, man, that's kind of a loaded question. Unicron has not consumed it yet, at any rate.
Since we know the rest of the Primes, this next grouping shows several more of them where we know a decent amount of information.
Alpha Trion- Titan: Metroplex
- Colony: It has been seen in a flashback but not named, only noted as the first world the Primes conquered outside of Cybertron.
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Alpha Trion's Status: Apparent death occurred on Cybertron at the hands of "Onyx Prime" (Shockwave) in Optimus Prime #16.
- Metroplex's Status: Metroplex is in city mode on Cybertron and comprises a large part of Iacon.
- No-name Colony's Status: Unknown
Liege Maximo- Titan: Vigilem
- Colony: Carcer (We've been told this is just a moniker for Vigilem's spaceship/prison mode, but let's just go with it until we know better. Shockwave sent an ore somewhere, which would have been where he thought Liege Maximo went in this case.)
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Related Transformers: There is a small, outside chance the domesticated Roboids of Demus/Tarn's creation are in some way related. The only connection at this time is thematically through the similarities between these Roboids and the experiments the Aligned Continuity version of the character conducted on "The Farm".
- Liege Maximo's Status: On Cybertron, whereabouts uncertain.
- Vigilem's Status: Deceased. Brain module physically destroyed by Elita One. Brain/spark escaped through a connection into Windblade's body but was destroyed by Windblade with help from Starscream in a battle within her mind.
- Carcer's Status: If a planet, unknown. If not, a flying spaceship corpse over Cybertron.
Megatronus- Titan: Unknown
- Colony: Tsiehshi
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: 8, Destruction
- Regenesis Ore Power: "Power" may be the wrong term here, as Ore 8 emits a radiation that makes Transformers hallucinate and eventually go insane.
- Megatronus' Status: Deceased. Killed by "Onyx Prime" (Shockwave) on Tsiehshi after Megatronus killed Prima.
- Tsiehshi's Status: Presumably intact but why would you want to go there?
Micronus Prime- Titan: Prion
- Colony: Prion
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Related Transformers: Mini-Cons. Additionally, the inhabitants of Microspace (including the Micronauts, Baron Karza, the Pharoids, and several other alien species) could be considered to belong in this category.
- Micronus Prime's Status: Deceased. It is unknown what destroyed Micronus Prime, however his body has been used as a portal between Microspace and "normal" space.
- Prion's (Titan) Status: Presumably destroyed during Unicron's destruction of the planet of the same name, if anything of the Titan was still alive/functional at that point.
- Prion's (Planet) Status: Consumed by Unicron.
Nexus Prime- Titan: Unknown
- Colony: Unknown. It is only an assumption that Nexus Prime's Titan eventually fled and established a colony.
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Artifact: Enigma of Combination
- Related Transformers: Combiners, Headmasters/Titan Masters
- Nexus Prime's Status: Deceased. Killed by Galvatron during the War of the Primes.
Onyx Prime- Titan: Chela
- Colony: Eukaris
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Artifact: Talisman
- Related Transformers: Beastformers (Transformers with alternate modes, like the characters in Beast Wars. Not to be confused with Battle Beasts.)
- Onyx Prime's Status: Apparently deceased. Based on information presented in Optimus Prime #18, Onyx Prime was killed by Shockwave on Cybertron in ancient times after Shockwave was pulled through the Dark Cybertron/Crystal City singularity. Shockwave then masqueraded as Onyx Prime throughout history.
- Chela's Status: Deceased. Killed by Starscream who shot Chela's brain module when he visited Eukaris with Windblade.
- Eukaris' Status: Consumed by Unicron.
Solus Prime- Titan: Caminus
- Colony: Caminus
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Artifact: The Forge
- Related Transformers: Camiens
- Solus Prime's Status: Deceased. Killed by Megatronus while protecting Prima from Megatronus and Liege Maximo during a coup attempt.
- Caminus' (Titan) Status: Functional on the planet of the same name.
- Caminus' (Planet) Status: Intact, but revealed through upcoming solicitations to be a near-future target of Unicron.
To round out our Thirteen Primes, here are the rest where there's just not much to go on. There
are good educated guesses to be made, but they're so flimsy they're not even noted here.
Alchemist Prime- Titan: Unknown
- Colony: Unknown, but it has been stated there is one associated with this Prime.
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Alchemist Prime's Status: Unknown, possibly drunk.
Amalgamous Prime- Titan: Unknown
- Colony: Unknown, but it has been stated there is one associated with this Prime.
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Amalgamous Prime's Status: Unknown
Quintus Prime- Titan: Unknown
- Colony: Unknown, but it has been stated there is one associated with this Prime.
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Quintus Prime's Status: Unknown
Vector Prime- Titan: Unknown
- Colony: Unknown, but it has been stated there is one associated with this Prime.
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Vector Prime's Status: Unknown
Colonies
If you kept count above, there are six, maybe seven colony planets not associated to a Prime. We know what all of these are (if there are only six), and if other information such as a Titan, Ore, or related type of Transformer is also known, it is shown below. If the story reveals it, eventually this information will be consolidated as appropriate with the list above.
Antilla- Titan: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Antilla's Status: Intact, uninhabited
Arduria- Titan: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: 6, Cold
- Regenesis Ore Power: The cold ore has caused Arduria to be slowly drained of its heat energy to the point where it has cracked into several pieces.
- Arduria's Status: Intact, kind of. All of the native species, the Rocs, have been killed.
CybertronWhile very obviously not a colony itself, this felt like an ok place to reference the final Regenesis ore since there's an odd one out.- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: 14, Resurrection
- Regenesis Ore Power: The resurrection ore was used by Shockwave during Dark Cybertron to gain some undead minions. It didn't really work out for him - or did it?
- Cybertron's Status: Intact, home to refugees, and seems to come under some kind of perilous danger all the darn time. Unicron's on the way now, too. Rough times, would not live there 1 star out of 10.
Devisiun- Titan: Devisiun
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Power: Unknown
- Related Transformers: Binary-Bonded Spark pairs
- Devisiun's (Planet) Status: Intact
- Devisiun's (Titan) Status: Deceased. The Titan was destroyed upon its initial entry to the planet.
Gorlam Prime- Titan: Necrotitan
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: 2, Death
- Regenesis Ore Power: Ore 2 kills Transformers, acting through what has been referred to as an "Alchemical Virus".
- Related Transformers: Micromasters
- Gorlam Prime's Status: Somehow both collapsed into the Dead Universe and was consumed by Unicron. It remains to be seen if this will be resolved or if it's just something we're not supposed to think about too hard.
- Necrotitan's Status: Deceased. Necrotitan was destroyed after Megatron provided Metroplex with Ore 7's "Change" power in the Dark Cybertron finale.
LV-117- Titan: Unknown
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: 1, Time
- Regenesis Ore Power: The time ore causes LV-117 to haphazardly jump through time. Robots in Disguise's pair of "Syndomica" issues, #s 6 and 10, demonstrate the chaos this can create.
- LV-117's Status: Consumed by Unicron.
Velocitron- Titan: Navitas
- Regenesis Ore Number and Name: 9, Space
- Regenesis Ore Power: Teleportation
- Related Transformers: Velocitronians, which are primarily Transformers with fast vehicular alternate modes.
- Velocitron's Status: Consumed by Unicron.
- Navitas' Status: Deceased. Presumably destroyed during Unicron's consumption of Velocitron.
Titans
There are six Primes where we aren't sure what Titan to match. Looking at the list of colonies, we can find three of these in Necrotitan, Devisiun, and Navitas. Of the other three mystery Titans, we know one name, leaving two as a complete mystery.
Tempo - Prime: Unknown
- Colony: Unknown
- Tempo's Status: Unknown
Ores
If you kept score this entire way, you'll notice that Ores 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, and 11 haven't been associated with a Prime, Colony, or even a Titan. Of these, we only know anything certain about two of them so far.
Ore 7 - Regenesis Ore Number and Name: 7, Change
- Regenesis Ore Power: This ore has been used once so far, by Metroplex, who used its powers to reattach a severed thumb and restore its functionality.
Ore 10 - Regenesis Ore Number and Name: 10, Deception
- Regenesis Ore Power: Mind control
Speculation
What follows is unconfirmed, speculative information about possible "matches" for any of the incomplete information above.
- LV-117 is strongly suggested to have some connection to the Quintessons, themselves just by the nature of their name very possibly the descendants of Quintus Prime.
- Based on mere wordplay alone, Vector Prime's Titan may be Tempo.
- It is possible that the other two Titans have been seen in other flashback stories, in the background of More Than Meets The Eye as Lockdown's team recounts their exploits hunting Titans, or even in the Titan "Junkyard" on Luna 1. However, no names or associations have been mentioned for these that would lead to associations relevant for inclusion on this list.
