IDW are really going all in on Shattered Glass, it seems?

Also, on the plus side, it looks like Beast Wars is getting a new artist!

I'm not sure what's going on actually as Burcham's name is still on the B Cover and no mention is made over a new artist (normally you get some spiel about the other books the artist has worked on etc etc)

As for Shattered Glass though, I just noticed that the cover B and Retailer Incentive Cover have 1 on them (the listing is for issue 2) I need to go back now and see if we've made a mistake or if IDW did.

Yeah, comics normally make a big deal when a new artist takes over?

That said, I think the BW RI cover is the clear winner this month. Although I'd say King Grimlock has the best covers of all September's books and I don't even like the character normally.

I just hope the grimlock story lives up to the covers, and we don't see the delays other mini series have had recently.

To answer my own question from earlier, it was IDW who mucked up the covers for Shattered Glass

Which iteration of Grimlock is featuring in the book? I must admit I only heard of it today, looking through this article.

I'm not 100% if I'm honest, I think it's the one from the current ongoing but it could easily be it's own thing. I've also just realised that Grimlock seems to be based on the design used in Cyberverse, looking at the Missile launchers on his shoulders.

Yeah, first issue 1 homaged Marvel G2 issue 1 and now issue 2 is doing Marvel G1 issue 71.




I wish they had used these for the comics included with the figures, I don't plan on buying the retail versions but really love the looks of them.

I think Shattered Glass is the only one that interests me, I was kinda intrigued by King Grimlock, but that wore off by now. The rest?
