Anyone know where the Maketoys one is still stocked and can it be bought without 'Seaspray'? I'm dreading to see what iGear do this figure. Probably upscale it to Voyager size and charge $100

I'm just wondering who his parter will be? I'm guessing Wheelie judging by the black silhouette chart they had. Really hoping for a Windcharger though...

I don't know about this Powerglide. He looks a lot like the Maketoys one.

I might be flamed here, but I think the Jizai/X-transbot overall general transformation really can't be beat if you want a g1 look. Jizai Powerglide seems scarce now though and was a resin kit if I'm not mistaken, and the x-transbot version has some quality issues.

If the x-transbot version had better materials and paint, a little better leg articulation, and a little more detailing he would be absolutely a perfect figure in my eyes....

Funny you should say that since I found Glider on Kapow for a reasonable price after posting, and having no luck with Maketoys Bomber. He will be my Powerglide now. :michaelbay:

BigBadToyStore has the Maketoys bomber/hover in stock. Those guys are really legends class though.

I was disappointed with the overall quality of Glider, but he does look pretty good just standing on a shelf. Plus, he is classics sized.

Easy pass. I've got Universe Powerglide and prefer him upscaled like that. As much as I like the minibots, I never did like the tiny plane and tank, so I can save some cash this time.

I ordered Glider from Chimungmung a while ago (with MP Soundwave, so I haven't got it yet) and I prefer him at that scale. The sad thing is, Glider's probably cheaper now than this is going to wing up being all on it's own.

i agree that X-transbot/Jizaitoys tranformation and bot mode are ideal.

Well that's cool, another figure that I don't have to buy from iGear can only be a good thing.

Can you find the X-transbot still? Just curious if online retailers still carry him.

Neither MakeToys' or X-Transbot's takes on Powerglide ever won me over. If any third party company is going to get me on board for a Powerglide it'll be iGear's MiniWarrior for sure. But thanks to the character's upscaled appearance in the IDW Ongoing comics, I'm still very happy with the ultra class Universe figure.

Agreed. I prefer both Powerglide's and Seaspray's new sizes to their previous minibot size. Warpath too.

Ill get this one just to have it. But Im not sure if it will be replacing my X-Transbots version. As long as Artfire BB, Beezleboss Cliffjumper, and Hasbro Warpath are deluxe, I dont mind having Powerglide deluxe since he was a plane.
