Nope, It's a candy green, but I think it really works with the '50s-esque spaceman theme they are using.

Yup. Looks like he cut out the support struts that go over the shoulders that mount the car body kibble. Would have had to separate the car body from the back too.

Kind of like the mod.
I wish the car hood at least slid back so you could get to the head easier.

But all-in-all these are excellent!

Finally got mine. Love em.

That mod would look nice but make hench a little ass-heavy. The lack of paint accents hurts both a little and that gray plastic on Hench really bugs me - where are companies getting this cheap gray re-grind stuff? Hegemon uses the same stuff and it just begins to look bad after a while.

Other than that IP issues be damned...I'm on borad for the whole mini series. Cant wait for Cogz now. And Huffer/Rager really needs a scale-up to match them now too.

Yeah, I too am finally getting some information back when I enter my tracking number at the Hong Kong post site. I originally got my e-mail from Igear on 28 September saying my item was shipping, but it wasn't until yesterday that my items were finally leaving Hong Kong for the USA. Talk about going through tons of paperwork and red tape just to receive toys from overseas.

Either that or Igear stretched the truth a bit as to when they were actually shipping out our items. I'm betting they gave us an estimated day our items would ship, only it didn't happen until about two weeks later.

I don't know what's going on with the HK post on this delivery. When I entered my tracking number on the http://www.usps.com website, it showed my package arrived to NY's sorting facility on the 15th... 4 days ago. I estimate I'll get it either tomorrow or Monday while my Toys R Us Deluxe Swerve is to be delivered by Tuesday, the 23rd.

I estimated right, my Hench and UFO were delivered on Saturday, unfortunately I had to work and wasn't able to receive the package and sign for it. But I was off today and swung by the post office and picked it up.

So far I'm loving Hench/Not-Brawn and UFO/Not-Cosmos both. The left hip ball-joint on Cosmos is a little loose, but other than that, both are cool. I'm only going to be displaying them the majority of the time in robot modes anyway.

Now to start saving for the Not-Throttlebots, Grind Rod/Not-Rollbar and Aurora/Not-Searchlight as well as the new Not-Aerialbots. Don't even get me started on the new MP Soundwave w/Laserbeak, Rumble and Buzzsaw, and Frenzy and Ravage.

I usually do the same, but the UFO mode with the stand was too cool to pass up. I have mine hovering over the other mini-bots.

This mod makes me remember one thing I thought Hecnch had when I first saw pics of him. Namely a hinge on that "roof" of his. Like "Huffer" (although nowehere as bad) that feature makes it annoying to turn his head.

Yes, but only in the past week has it worked. I believe Daimchoc mentioned there was a holiday observed at the end of September which may have caused some delay from Hong Kong post. I just checked the status, USPS provides up to 10/19, where the package is sitting in New York. So maybe I'll have it by the weekend... (pretty please!?!)

Ah, mine now says it was processed in HK on the 22nd. I'm very paranoid about this, because my previous order from iGear never arrived and they won't replace it or refund the money. They won't even respond, for that matter. This all came to light AFTER I placed this preorder, otherwise I never would have. So hopefully this shipment makes it and then I can avoid ever doing business with these criminals again.

And it's in my hands this evening. Hench is a BIG dude! Thankfully, I don't have any troubles with the legs like some folks were talking about. UFO is considerably smaller, but iGear makes up for the size by providing a platform for him to be posed on, either alt or bot mode. I'm glad to have these in my hands, now to get some faction symbols! :BOT: :KREMZEEK:

Andrius, good luck on your shipment. I hope things are right for you this time.

Got both from TFsource over the weekend. and I must say.. I'm pretty disappointed by both.. they are what they are and they serve the purpose well but they lack... something.. they are both very boring IMO. they are much needed on the shelf and looks great with the classics gang but I don't find myself playing with them much. got the prime entertainment two pack to get the kids this weekend as well and I couldn't put the Megatron down. I didn't even expect to like it but its so much fun to transform and pose...

I've been waiting for UFO and Hench since they were announced and for $70 bucks its very disappointing.. hopefully repolabels makes them more interesting..

Could not agree more. After a really long wait I could not have been more disappointed with the end product. Unfortunately both these figures look and feel like pretty poor oversized KOs. I picked up Spray (I already had Botcon Huffer) and I have to say that for the size, it was a nice figure. Both of these are as simple as Spray, but lazily upsized.

My Cosmos has extremely tight and massive balljoints. The gun is abysmal and looks like a 1950's ray gun. It also barely fits into the fist or the robo-rectum, which is where it ends up in alt mode. How appropriate considering it looks more like a vibrator than a weapon. The paint apps are very sloppy and the fin which is supposed to be used to pull the head up in robot mode sticks and is sharp as a scalpel blade. It comes with a stand. Well I don't really see why anyone would want to display this putrid green pile of crap but there you go. You get an oversized piece of hexagonal clear plastic to go with the oversized piece of crap Transformer.

Brawn is actually soo oversized, he is hilarious. Yards of under-detailed and cheap plastic abound. Again the paint apps are either non-existant or terrible. The grey plastic used would shame Hasbro at their worst. I utterly hate him. He made my hands dirty (seriously, I had to wipe crud off him) The plastic is just utterly terrible. The idiots at iGear couldn't even get their bots in scale with each other, with Brawn towering over Cosmos. Their greed has ruined these figures. They would have been fine if they were smaller, with the sparse detail much less noticeable (and more forgivable) on a smaller scale.

Man I hate these 2. It seems that unless they are KOing decent moulds, iGear have pretty much no idea what they are doing. The pictures do not do the awfulness of these figures justice - they really don't. Just get them in hand and you will get a sinking feeling, and realise quite how poor these 2 are. Particularly Brawn.

HATE these guys.

Mine are still in my pile of loot, so I cant talk quality issues. But Im very happy Igear decided to make Brawn and Cosmos in scale with scout and smaller deluxe figures. I dont care about legends class or "mini-bots" scale as they were known in the 80's. This was just a gimmick to sell toys to kids with cheap parents and does not represent actual scale in the G1 cartoon. I hope they make a larger version of Huffer and Seaspray and I will gladly buy them again. The reprolabels set for Huffer is awesome for those who complain about I gears lack of paint apps. Im sure future sets will follow. I think these figures will be great for any classics display.

I don't think you're entirely right about the minibots not being mini in the cartoon. The were definately smaller than the main bots.

But I'm with you on the scout size. But, like mooncake, I do kinda wish they had retooled these to accomadate their upsizing. Because it's painfully clear these are Legends-sized toys upsized to scouts.

I got mine yesterday and I've already broken the stand by shoving it up Cosoms's ass and trying to remove it. Took a pair of pliers to get the stup out and I don't think he'll be walking right for a week.

Other than that, I'm quite impressed with both. I can't wait to see the rest of this mini-line.

Cosmos is at least scout sized and scales pretty well with windcharger, Botcon Huffer etc. Brawn just looks stupid at the size he is. Waaay too big without the required detailing.

The only analogy I can think of is imagine a cool Lego vehicle, which they decide to do a larger version of. You would be expecting a more detailed and refined end product, right. But instead they just remake the Lego set out of Duplo, so it is bigger.

Brawn is to the CHUG figures what Duplo is to Lego. He might make pre-schoolers happy, but that it about it.

They were maybe to the height of Primes stomach in the cartoon. But in the G1 toys, they are an exaggerated mini size at about the height of Primes knees. Hasbro wasnt thinkig scale when they made the toys. They were just thinking small kids. Fourtunatly today Hasbro makes kiddie versions of the deluxe/voyager characters instead of dumbing down half of the cast for kids. I dont know when the "scout" class was officially created. Energon ? It seems to work quite well for homaging mini-bots and combiner team members from the G1 era.
