OK, I am officially burnt out on OP Being a truck. I know it's proper, and I know it's Iconic.

You know what else is Iconic? "ONE SHALL STAND! ONE SHALL FALL!"
Getting a little bit tired of that as well
I know, that in the past he's been a Cybertronian Carrier
(Very Truck-like) A Lamborghini-type vehicle, and even a Nissan-Z If I'm not mistaken.
But tell me, If Optimus Prime could turn into ANYTHING other then a Truck of some kind, what would you have him turn into, and why?

Alternators Prime worked well because he retained the head and colour scheme.
Alternity Prime however ... was just too slimmed down.

I think Prime could easily change alts provided he retains a bulky look, the head, and the colour scheme.

It's Megatron they screwed around with too much. Couldn't be a gun? Fine. Make him a tank. Tanks work. Tanks or tough and mean.

Jets aren't. Cybertronian or not. Plus that's Starscream's gig.

The RID Fire Truck worked well. A good variation on the same theme, perhaps we could see something like that again.

I think that mode sums him up perfectly: courageous, heroic and self-sacrificing. It still counts as a truck though.

yeah same here. there are more important transformers to worry about. i cant even begin to tell you how much rage i was in when they made megatron a **** truck. :BANG_HEAD:

Either a mega remold of Classics Deluxe Meg's or Warpath. Although a super remold of X-over Hulk would make one hell of a Prime on steroids

well, cool I guess, but, I mean. A Bat? And megatron, an Alligator? Can you really blaim them for wanting to retcon? They made them unique characters and made them mightier animals to boot.

Aw man! Who would be tired of Optimus Prime as a truck? It's the stuff of legends lol. It would be like Superman without a red cape and suddenly becoming Japanese. The truck is iconic and represents power, without suggesting stealth (which is kind of untrustworthy for a hero) like Starscream or Megatron's form.
