What's the translucent one's name again? I know it's an obscure character but the name escapes me. In any case, this set looks pretty great. :D

these in hand pics look pretty awesome.
the unity of the figs as a set; color and style wise; are making me rethink my decision not to grab those.

I bought it just for the cassettes. I'm really hoping to see more SG Cassettes from either TFCC or e-Hobby in the future, just for an excuse to get more cassettes.

I bought the Soundblaster and Twincast just for the cassettes but I had to pass this time. Just didnt seem worth it. Maybe the guys who KOed the dino cassettes can help us out in the future with these.

KOTOYS.com suffered a crackdown because of those dino cassettes and the 2 pair of '88 combiner cassettes, and that was the one project that the guy who ran it had a hand in beyond distribution, which lowers the odds. I'm not sure if CHMS is still doing any cassette KOs.

I've never seen Ratbat or Rewind/Eject KOed, but I have seen Ramhorn done in several Crayola hues, likely including blue. I've only seen hideously deformed KOs of Overkill and Slugfest though; my Overkill KO is SO screwed up he looks as much like an alligator as a Ceretosaurus.

I'll buy any cassette TF as long as it's the original size, KO or legit, so I plan on saving up for this set. Even if you don't care about SG, a white Soundwave can be repurposed as the background-color-error character that Zobovor calls Whitenoise from...'Fight or Flee', was it? And Blaster just looks badass. Is his SG persona the opposite of his cartoon personality or Marvel personality?

For those who are still on the fence about this set because it's G1 cassettes but don't like SG, it was once said that these toys can be used for something other than SG.

There is a custom sticker sheet that comes with the set that gives one the option to give these figures a little more variety and be more like the SG versions, but if one chooses to forgo applying these stickers, that leaves these figures less like their SG character selves and more free to represent non-SG characters.

For Soundwave, don't like SG? No problem! Ta-da! Consider him Evil Decepticon "Sonic White" Soundwave. ;)

For Blaster, don't like SG? Worry no more! A little imagination and boom! He's the Heroic Autobot Blaster's brother Bluster. :P

For the cassettes, don't like SG? Get this! Now they're additional members to further expand the ranks of you Heroic Autobot and Evil Decepticon cassette armies, ripe for the creative renaming of whatever names you please. :D

They really do nothing for me. Normally i'd look at a figure and get something, but these guys, nothing.

The problem for me is that the set isn't just the cassettes; I don't want to fork out for Blaster and Soundwave as well. If there was a set that consisted of just the cassettes I would be very interested. Still no guarantee that I'd buy em though :D

Got my set today! Its a really nice looking set. The only thing that seemed odd was the comic was seperate and not packaged in the box.

My understanding is that 2 comics were produced, one in Japanese for the eHobby version and one in English for the TFCC version.
