Sideswipe is seriously compensating for something  Seriously though, the combining weapons are amazing, especially on Ultra Magnus!

...

Dang you, love for versatility! :BANG_HEAD:

Interesting. These guys seem to come with much bigger weapons than their FOC wave 1 counterparts. Is Hasbro adding back in a bit of value to their Deluxe figures at last? I'd rather see that extra plastic go back into the figures for some added size and/or mass, but maybe that's to come sometime in the future with new molds?

Cool! Why do I think everything looks better then their original? Magnus looks much better than Optimus, Sideswipe looks much better than Jazz, and Air Raid/Fireflight looks better than Shockwave.

Is it just me, or do these have a lot more paint apps than the previous waves?

I wonder if that Ultra Magnus head could be used on the Voyager Classics Ultra Magnus, because I would seriously consider buying two UM's just for the second head.

Not that it matters, since I want these guys I'm sure none of the stores will have them. BUMBLEBEE REPAINTS FOREVER!

Is it just me, or am I the only one that noticed that the weapons are actually from the Fall Of Cybertorn game?

All musts except Air Raid, he was the troll character in Broken Hope (Escalation map, he could solo for hours and other players would be annoyed like hell).

Is it just me, or would everyone else rather have a bigger, better figure... instead of having a wonky disc-launcher weapon almost as BIG as the toy. Can you actually stash that launcher anywhere on Kickback as a bug. Or is it just an awkward bit of side kibble to lay on the shelf?

As it is, I'd definitely have preferred a small, G1 style silver weapon for Kickback, and null-rays instead of Mech-tech weapons for Starscream, etc. The gimmicks are keeping us from getting the desired accessories.

Mind you... exception for Sideswipe's blaster, which is from the game, right? That kind of nod is really cool.

F to the Yes!
Okay, a few stumbles there, but all improvements over the wave 1 versions of the remolded guys, and the new ones look good. I don't really like the Insecticon as one of the classic 3, but he's nice (Repugnus repaint pls?) and I absolutely love all the weapons. Magnus Sword and gun combo is BA!

Magnus is, as I expected, a HUGE improvement over Prime, especially that awesome combining sword! Jazz's mold looks so much better in red, and that BFG looks great. Starscream is win, but we knew that already; and he looks amazing with Magnus' sword, I'll definitely be trading their weapons if I pick them both up, haha.

Fireflight and the Insecticon both look great as well, but I don't have any interest in them.

Starscream has that mini scrapmaker machinegun that the Flyers have in Multiplayer mode (and Bumblebee in the intro game sequence)

Sideswipe has the pistol Optimus has on the cover of the game and it's the weapon of the Scout class in multiplayer.

Kickback has the Shredder, a weapon for flyers in Multiplayer. Kind of overpowered ingame.

I love these 3 weapons :) :) :)

It's a shame that there are only two new molds of five figures in Wave 3, but the remolds are so good.

Okay. If they're all in-game weapons... I take back everything I said. While I'd like some extra null-ray weapons, etc... this is a fantastic follow-through. Video game robot designs as toys, and their video game weapons included. Bravo, Hasbro/Takara. Bravo.

^ Yeah, I was gonna say, I think they're all from the game.

It appears so. Finally! Maybe Hasbro is listening.

I doubt it would fit on the Voyager, FoC Prime's head is TINY. And you're probably right about the availability. :p

These do all look pretty amazing. Magnus is a bit too blue but the sweet combinable weapons look amazing. All the weapons look pretty amazing, especially that BFG. Sideswipe's bot mode still isn't great but the colors are definitely an improvement over Jazz. Starscream looks good but his arms don't look too secure in bot mode, much like Cybertron Thundercracker. Fireflight (Air Raid? Whatever...) looks surprisingly good. I might repurpose his small sword for someone else, but we'll see. I'm really liking these armaments!

Now, to figure out which ones will be shortpacked... Probably Starscream, since everyone will want him.

Yeah, there has to be a dart board in the Hasbro break room that they use to pick which characters are short packed.

Or if there is a troop builder figure, they just automatically default to that? Vehicon, I'm looking at you. From that standpoint, it would be Kickback short packed, since we'll all want an army of insects. Heh.

I DO hope to high heaven they have two more insects coming for Shrapnel and Bombshell. (Or Snarf-shot and Hardshell... or whatever their new names are.

Really liking these combining weapons, also that they are all from the game, hope they continue with that. My personal fave has gotta be Starscream, cuz he's comes with my favorite gun from the game.

Magnus looks better... marginally. Not digging that he gets lumped with a sword.

Starscream looks the most promising, but that always comes with the caveat of being a new seeker mold. Still wish he came with null rays instead.

Sideswipe also looks better than Jazz, but again only so much given that it's the same mold. Ridiculous oversized accessories will never make up for how small these things are.

Air Raid, Firefight, I don't give a damn whoever he is, he's an Aerialbot, so no. He looks completely awful anyway.

Kickback only looks good for insecticon army building since he looks like a generic, but again I'm not a big fan of the insecticons either.

So basically all I see of any value here is Starscream and the mass quantity of repaints to follow.

ooooo nice! y'think these'll be out before Christmas?

I'm definitely getting starscream and sideswipe, both they and their weapons look kickass.
Magnus and Kickback are maybes. I'm happy to see that Magnus still has those pastel shades like on optimus; lollipop colors i call 'em I think i'm in the minority of people who actually liked his coloration. Kickback looks okay i guess, his weapon is pretty cool, but its almost the same size that he is.
Air Raid/Fireflight/Whatever the hell he is is a no. He doesn't look like air raid from the game, and i already have the shockwave mold. the only reason i might get him is to maybe pick up his crazy swords.

I like Kickback's robot mode more then I thought I would but the bug mode is unfortunately as crap as I thought it would be.

Is Ultra Magnus a straight repaint of Prime? Maybe it's just the photography but he seems to be a lot bulkier in the chest. It's probably just camera trickery though since the head doesn't seem as tiny but there's no room to make it bigger.

I wouldn't get my hopes up that these come looking as awesomely painted when they hit shelves. These look like promo shots and those always get extra paint apps.

It's a shame that Kickback is the only one with a lame weapon...IMO. :VEHI:
