Why is there only 5 semi interesting shots of Ripclaw and 20 or more detailed shots of boring ass Starscream? waste of time.

You know something is very, very wrong when Starscream looks more female than an actual fembot.

Ripclaw is...Meh. very very meh. Don't really like her. Might pick a few up for cheap as an army builder or source of parts.

Starscream, on the other hand, I love. Looks nothing like Starscream, but I wouldn't be using it as Starscream anyway. She'd either become a new Deceptifemme or a drone for army building with. I for one actually love the thinness and lankyness.

got any pics of starscream with the missiles attatched to the forearms? All pics before have been mistransformed with them on or transformed correctly without them on. I'd like to see what he looks like with everything transformed and attatched properly, i think it would improve the look of the bot mode.idk.

both look good though, these beast hunters figs have got me smiling. sometimes it's nice to depart from sharp clean angles and realistic alt modes in favor of something like beast hunters where its, well, sharp but not because of clean angles rather due to sharp pointy things haha.its sharp and they're all out armed to the teeth and are meant for brutal war rather than secret war. I mean i have never been so impressed with a bumblebee as i am with beast hunters bumblebee just for example. First edition is nice for accuracy and posability and so forth but bhbb is just plain rediculously over powered and therefore cool and fun. im smiling thinking about it right now which may be sad to some degree but whatever.

The candy colored monster isn't too bad, and not all that candyrific.

Starscream on the other hand, much like Soundwave, appears to be a complete piece of crap.

Ripclaw looks decent. I don't really care for the robot head but it still has the Prime athstetic. Starscream is just downright ufgly. I originally thought that this was a retool of the FE figure which I love. This Starscream will wirk for a custom.

I've got nothing against the two toys, but the BH look is seriously not my cup of tea.

I read something about BH Starscream's shorter and smaller size; IMO, that's thanks to the BFG/claw thing taking up some of the plastic quota from the actual toy.

Not sure what to say about Starscream. I had high hopes, but... I just don't know. I'll continue waiting until someone like Peaugh gets his or her hands on him.

Ripclaw is a pass, unless she's in reality very sweet and worth however much she's going for.

Am I the only one getting a Beast Wars Terrorsaur vibe from that Starscream? I might just be me though as I already looked at the cgi model and pictures of the toys and they don't really look similar. If only SS was colored like his weapon then he might actually look like Terrorsaur.

Oh well, if I pick him up I might just re-purpose him as a Classics Terrorsaur or something like that.

By the way, Ripclaw is a smexy beast. I imagine when she starts talking the song "Bringing Sexy Back" would be playing just like it does for Duke Devlin.

I think this image explains what the designers were up to when they created BH Starscream:

Notice that the weapon Starscream comes with resembles something else in real life:

I kept thinking to myself "They must have been on something when they came up with that" and now it seems I've found a clue :P.

Screamer would look good if they either kept the same color scheme as before or replace the yellow with somthing else

They are... small.
Starscream looks stupid. Veritech-style transformation where you drop the arms and legs then fold the fuselage in half is kinda cool but doesn't make up for the poo colours.

I'm going to be all over the Predacons, so Ripclaw is definitely going to be bought. I may even get a few to do a bit of troop building behind their leader Ser-Ket (if we get one from either Has or Tak).

Call me crazy, but I think I actually like Starscream. Yeah he's shorter than the FE (which would actually put him in line with the mainline PRIME deluxes) and his colours are a tad bland, but it's striking a chord with me for some reason. I like the general design and the weapon is cool. If and when it goes on clearance I'll certainly get him. I may pick him up anyway.

Since he's my favorite, I hate how Starscream's colours are all over the place. I don't mind the figure but just that paint makes me wanna go Easter egg hunting.

Starscream is small. Ripclaw looks like it's about the same size as Lazerback, who's almost as big as Voyager Thundertron.

Has anyone mentioned that it's a homage to Cybertron Brimstone? 'Cos that's pretty much what it looks like to me. I know as a kid in the early 90s I would have liked this, so I can kind of appreciate it now.

I may get him if I see him, but the other (new mold) Beast Hunter figures are winning me over more.

A few times, but much like BH Ratchet, the homage just looks beyond AWFUL.

URGH. I had to remind myself of BH Ratchet's appearance. IMO that's way worse than Screamer here!

Well, BH Ratchet is unsalvagably bad. The mold itself is a TERRIBLE IDEA. BH Starscream has really good mold, but an awful deco. I'm hoping they actually do it in red at some point, homaging Terrorsaur.
