That is called a Gerwalk mode. Watch Macross.

Oh, I'm sorry...

I was aware that was Gerwalk from Macross, but I forgot what that mode was called.

That's why I thought it was funny. But I do not like Macross, and honestly never will. I do not care how G1 Jetfire came about.

Good on you for retroactively remembering. :APPLAUSE:

Well that is more transforming giant robots for me.

I mean it isn't like Bandai and gang are much better at giving us jet transformers than Has/Tak.

Seriously, you should do an essay on why Macross is irrelevant to Transformers.

Bonus points on neglecting Kawamori's (the creator of Macross just an fyi I am sure you knew that ) involvement at Takara designing Optimus Prime, Prowl/Smokescreen/Bluestreak, Ironhide/Ratchet, and MP Starscream or the fact that Roller shows up in Macross.

Wow! That jet mode looks gre...

Oh. Shame.

Still, apart from that he looks fantastic.

Everybody's talking about the exposed hands, but at least the arms are secreted between the rear wings and don't alter the aerodynamic flow of the jet mode. What I believe are the big giant hips jutting forwards and out to the sides are far more jarring, to the extent that I didn't even notice the hands, because in every picture I was distracted by the hips sticking out like a pair of elephant ears.

Probably still not enough to make me not want to get him, but not the best kibble situation.

It's was the first thing i thought when i saw the head.

Very good looking robot mode i will get this and i would get his twin it would be awsome if he had the same gun as his commander figure.

The jet looks good can't grumble with the hands and whatever after the movie voyagers , i'm glad he's at least a tad bit taller than bulkhead and breakdown not for scale just for voyagers being taller.

Oh, let's not forget the great G1 Jetfire toy was originally Macross toy. VF-1S Super Valkyrie to be exact. If you didn't read my small text, I do not care how he came about, I do not like Macross.

But, yeah, they're totally irrelevant to Transformers. I mean, seriously.

PrimeStriker wrote:I do not care how G1 Jetfire came about.

I mean, it isn't like Macross is popular at all in the U.S. Everyone knows that. Robotech? That doesn't exist, you silly goose! :D

You're right, Macross had no effect whatsoever on Transformers. I'm not knowledgable at all of the franchise.

Now that the sarcasm's over, let's get on with the discussion at hand. Don't make me like Macross because they had an involvement in Transformers, because I honestly do not care.

I hate the gun. Everything else looks fine, but I'll wait for skyquake. Also, while those wing flaps seem like they're part of the transformation process, they do give the jet mode a touch of realism.

I want this! ...as Skyquake. :( I am not fond of Dreadwing's colors, so I hope Skyquake gets released. soon. mold looks good though. :) I def. need another f-35 ish jet to place next to breakaway, another of my fav jet-formers. I loved his robot mode. so cool.

Love how accurate this toy is in robot mode. I wonder if there's a way to leave one of those wing flaps hanging out the back to make that slightly more accurate?

That Gatling gun belongs to some other toy. The Skyquake toy will come with a remold of Dreadwing's gun colored orange.

Well, we get somewhat accurate guns with these twins. At least the barrels are. Dreadwing has a Heavy Cannon Thing..... and Skyquake has a Heavy Gatling Gun, even in their Powerizer Toy Guns. But they're too small and don't lock. :BANG_HEAD:

I hope someone (in the future) makes an upgrade kit for Dreadwing with a larger weapon and his bombs. What would put icing on the cake would be a detonator for the bombs :D

Is he being released with another figure? Seems like the voyagers come in pairs. OP/Megatron, SS/Bulkhead.

All the stores around here are pretty much out of Voyagers beyond the occasional OP

Wave 3 leaves Dreadwing alone. We get 2 figures in Wave 4 to make up for it, though. Then, Skyquake is alone in Wave 5.

So... He doesn't come with an epically huge Gatling gun? D:

Oh...mein...gott!! So badass. I can't wait for this. Or more specifically, Skyquake. If he gets released.

No, he doesn't. Anyone who thinks that he could possibly come with a gun as good looking as that, with such a great paint job, has not been paying attention to Hasbro's releases for the last several years.

So it's OP and Megatron in wave 1, Bulkhead and Starscream in 2, this guy in 3, Thundertron and Ultra Magnus in 4 and Skyquake in 5, correct?

I might wait till 4 to get anything worthy of interest to me.

Where does the gatling gun come from?

Yep, but I'm probably going to be ordering all of the newer Prime figures off of eBay until the Christmas Reset at retail. God knows when I'll see an Airachnid nearby.

Meanwhile, in Canada
(or at least, in Québec):

Transformers Prime Deluxes and Voyagers?

Yup, still stuck at wave one.

We've got weaponizers, though.

 Wooo...Dreadwing looks so good and is proberly the best prime voyager I've seen. It seems that he dosen`t suffer from a lot of kibble in either mode much unlike say, Megatron. I can`t wait to get him and I'm going to get rid of that terrible mechtech gun when I get him.

Well Dreadwing is in stock to order on BBTS but that damn gimmick with his pistola I just can't take. I'll be eagerly awaiting more pics of the Arms Micron release and the cool micron's that will come with too...'nuff said! :VEHI:
