I've got these on preorder with Robotkingdom, believe it or not when you break down the costs per figure, it's about the same as I'd have to pay for a united deluxe anyway.

Most definitely looking forward to these, but debating whether or not to swap this versions head out Kup.

I really want the autobot set, but I don't $120 want them.

I really hope these hit a sale price at some vendor at some point.

We saw the boxed images the day of or the day after they were first revealed weeks ago.

Trademark laws differ by region. US trademarks are not interchangeable with Japanese ones, and as such has resulted in some peculiar name changes (see the Unicron Trilogy), even down to adding "Autobot" or "Decepticon" prefixes to names in Japan where it wouldn't be necessary in the US (the movie and Animated were prone to that).

i am not 100% sold on them, i would really like them both but really its around $40 per transformer. Especially since its special editions, i believe $40 per is almost worth it. I am gonna get the iGear head for the battle damage kup. considering he looks completely crosseyed ><

IMO, the autobot set is 2/3 worth the price. The Blue Rodimus is different, but the real reason I want the pack is for the Junkio and Kup. That shade of blue is nice on Kup, and since we get two heads guess which one gets the cigar...

Why the hate for the Deceticon pack I dunno, but I like the whole pack through and through. Galvatron actually looks "decent" for a change. I really like Scourge and Cyclonus the most.

Shouldn't this be titled "Package Images of eHobby Decepticon and Autobot 3-Packs"?

Because we're not actually seeing them *in* the packaging, just the boxes themselves.

As for the figures themselves, too rich for my blood, plus I don't care for the decos on 'em.

I dunno, in this set Hot Rod is basically a slightly altered upcoming TFCC Side Burn.
