Did you think there was something that was a little off with the X-Transbots Ironhide and Ratchet images that were posted yesterday morning? There's a good reason for that, it turns out they're not prototypes at all, but paper crafts. While X-Transbots is planning to produce versions of both characters, these images were posted to their facebook page to give fans an idea of what their figures would look like in robot mode. They later posted that they would be posting ABS prototypes later.

That does explain the lack of knees at least.

I dont have that much time on my hands. But I must admit they look nice.

I thought they looked kinda off. I guess that explains why when I first saw them they looked like cell-shaded renders.

Yeah, the lack of joints and the static poses they do just screams Revoltech.
