Can't you just upload your character from the Initiation Station to the Saints Row website, then download it once you're in-game?

I tried, but my PS3 won't let me for some reason.

This might sound obvious, but have you checked Let's Pretend, the costume shop? There's one on the southwest island.

I did not. Not in this playthrough anyway, I shall check there once I get home.

Superhero costume pieces, including the masks, are available there. I just brought my space-age soldier chick there.

It's part of the "Money Shot" DLC pack that came with a Prima guidebook: http://www.primagames.com/SaintsRowDLC Features that kinky Ultor assassin costume, an Ultor hoverbike, and the automatic sniper rifle with a 30-round mag. It takes up the Assault Rifle slot, though, and cannot but upgraded.

I question any DLC available on release date outside of a pre-order bonus, and even then only if it's not withholding game content.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Just picked this game up. Rescued my bird, Won the wing ceremony race, lost our eponymous female lead, got a new sword and a sidekick best described as an android, and destroyed a chandelier at a restaurant (the results of which were hilarious.

Also picked up Spirit tracks but not playing it until I finish Phantom Hourglass. Speaking of which...

Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Cleared the ice area to free the Arouti from the Yooks by killing a two-headed dragon. After that, Mostly treasure hunting with my new toys but not finding too much of interest. Went back to the ocean king's temple and got the final seachart.

Fixed. Remember when they still bloody made "Expansion Packs" that were actually worth it?

The original idea was to allow developers to easily produce and distribute really good ideas they had after it was too late to implement them into the game itself, and, sometimes, to make a bit of extra coin while they're at it. (Though not always, like Valve) Instead, it just became a way to make an extra bit of coin to unlock bits of the game that were already there.

Sometimes the price is okay, most developers won't charge more than $10, and for that price it's usually something really nice, (I.e. Lair of the Shadow Broker for Mass Effect 2, or the Borderlands DLC) or something useless at a really cheap price (Any and all Magicka DLC, most of which is $1) or if you're really lucky, something really nice and really cheap. (Just Cause 2 DLC)

Other times, it's EA's inability to properly set a price. You really want me to pay $50 for the Spore DLC, EA? How much crack does that get you? Because whoever sets these prices is clearly on crack.

And sometimes it's Valve, who just give things away for free because they're cool like that. How much would you pay for a million new weapons? Because you don't have to, because it's incriminating evidence and Saxton Hale needs them to be gone.

Two different beasts, my friend. Other than Moxxi's, the Borderlands packs were great examples of how to do it right. But then, on the other side of the spectrum, you have crap like:

>preorder to get crap that should've been in the game in the first place!
>EA, lol

Mega Man ZX Advent
Right, before I even started I was plagued by something that can happen to anyone: money shortage. Whoever thought Energy Crystals should be used for Warp Points should be shot.

Anyhow, found a Quest, made some dough for the Warp Points, then went to the Highway to face Thetis, the Model L Mega Man. I swear water physics suck, especially with bottomless pits. I still did him in though. More quests followed, went after Aeolus, the Model H Mega Man, defeated him too, all is well.
Then a Model W was detected in the Quarry, who do I meet? Vent (Aile if you play as Grey) from Mega Man ZX. Fought him after a small misunderstanding and won, only to find out he's on my side (eh, duh?). The model W decided to run for it, and after I chased it down, decided to merge with a Maverick mini-boss corpse, resurrecting it. Lovely, made him no harder to beat though ;)
Now I have 3 new areas to explore with these Pseudoroids:

- Argoyle & Ugoyle the Shisaroids (I hate tag teams!)
- Bifrost the Crocoroid (no relation to X2's Wheel Gator)
- Hedgeshock the Erinaceroid (Erinaceus is the main genus of hedgehogs)

Did I mention I hate tag teams?

Legend of Zelda:Skyward
Exploring the woods. Met a new race called the Kikwiis and helped their elder locate the rest of them. Was gifted the slingshot in thanks. Followed Zelda's trail to an old temple. Got in and fought through the temple's puzzles (wondering if Zelda is the truer her for having gotten through all this before me) and found a remote controlled Beetle. From there, tracked her to a final room but was blocked by our antagonist. Fought him in a battle but it was clear he was only toying with me considering he could catch my sword bare-handed and at one point STOLE MY SWORD FROM ME! the fight only ended when he realized i'd distracted him long enough for Zelda to get away from me.

Enjoying this game though still getting used to the controller assignments. So far, I'm thinking twilight princess will be the better game but the charm and gameplay in this one is still pretty good.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind:
Yes, while everyone is hopping the border from Cyrodiil to Skyrim, I'm headed east towards Morrowind. Why? 'Cause I'm a rebel.

Spoke with the Oracle and found out that while I am not The One right now, I have the potential to become it. (She was neither an Oracle nor is it called The One but it made me think of The Matrix so what the hell)

So far...I like Oblivion better. For starters, I didn't have to walk across a monster-infested slightly-alien-looking world every single time I needed to get something done.

Cleared the 2nd world, Sandy Canyon and half-way through world 3, Dedede's Resort. Nothing new to really report, except maybe that the boss was interesting to fight. Seesaws are always fun to clobber with ;)

Want to get Mass Attack at some point, but still need to finish Zelda: Spirit Tracks. And before I start that, I need to finish Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Yeah, I've got a DS backlog.

The legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Cleared the Isle of Death, moved on to the Isle of Ruins. RAised the island so I could expand the the land and solved the corridor puzzle of the Surface labrynth. Now in the king's tomb.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Don't rememember where I last posted. Short version is that I made it to the Chinese company's Boss's room, she hit the panic room button and I got locked out of her office and surrounded by guards. Found a vent I could use to sneak out and made it to the helipad. Hacked a pair of robot drones but no enemies came for them to kill. Instead, they just started firing at each other. Weak... Cool, but weak. ;)
Took a side-trip to Montreal to track the reporter lady, only to be entrapped by a hologram. Trying to get to her hiding place while avoiding dozens of armed soldiers.

I know what you're thinking "Oh, Shadowman is so awesome that he got into the beta for Star Wars: The Old Republic. I'd love to pester him with questions, but he's got that pesky NDA stopping him!"

Guess what was lifted.

Star Wars: The Old Republic:
This is not early access, though. Just a testing period, meaning I probably can't play this after this weekend. nor do I get to keep anything I make in here, which kind of sucks.

Playing as a Smuggler/Gunslinger. My dad went Jedi, though, and I wanted to do something different. Currently hunting down the son of a bitch who stole me ship at the start of the story line. He's on Coruscant, and a hot green-skinned chick (Not a Twi'lek, though) helped me frame him for things. Like, for being an undercover cop. (Which, in his profession, is literally painting a target on his head) Still have to find my ship, though.

EDIT: Also I'm a Cyborg. I have cool robot-eyes. They actually kind of look like Morpheus' sweet sunglasses.

So I've downloaded a crap ton of games from Steam this weekend, and since I'm mostly done with SM3D (great game) and lack live access for a bit, I figured I'd start up on one of them

Sam and Max
Hilarious series, I got it all for 12 bucks on steam. It's point and click with witty humor and two great main characters ("I hid in that dumpster from that rampaging gorilla" "I swear I had locked that female gorilla in that office!") I got basically from recovering a phone from a rat via "swiss cheese" (cheddar with gun holes) to helping out a psychiatrist who was kidnapped and locked in a closet by a 70s child star who was hypnotized by some hasbin who ran a home for former children stars that wants to sell a ton of his old eye exercise DVDs.

Also you can play a mini game in which you can pull people over for ferret impersonation (among other things). Best 12 bucks ever spent? Quite possibly.

Get it, you won't be disappointed. :)

Kirby Mass Attack
Finished Dedede Resort with all its mini-game, swimming and chilling ice berg glory. Again, I should have known who the boss would be: King Dedede himself, in a hot air balloon. He was also full of hot air himself ;)
Ran through half of the fourth and final world, Volcano Valley, and it was... I'd say hard, but that's me being hateful towards rising lava and falling boulders squishing my Kirbies.

Legend of Zelda:Phantom Hourglass
Cleared the Pyramid temple and obtained the aquamarine after destroying a stone robot boss.
One thing to say about this game is that the boss battles to this point have been truly inspired in how they use the dual-screen aspect.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Survived the assault at the News corp. Found the reporter lady... sort of. But also found a cloaked mercenary with a Typhoon Augmentation. Took some doing, but took her out. The reporter lady gave me some evidence and directions.
Now to return home for some peace and... Oh wait, riot right outside my boss's building. Lovely...

Since when has that stopped us? Remember our Good Ol' Exteel thread from back in the da--
A brief moment of silence for manly tears.

Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst [PC]:
So to play the single-player missions, you set your game mode to "one player" instead of "normal." You can also redo quests, too. Got my human ranger to level 4. Bought him a rifle that has a chance to steal life.

Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II Plus [GameCube]:
Doing the jobs in order from the Guild. Next one on the list is the one where I need to go find some survivors. This should be fun...

Minecraft [PC]:
Finally finished the Moldy Crow and her landing pad. The cockpit can be locked shut from the inside, there are chests full of contraband to be smuggled in the back, the cockpit's floor is made of furnaces for hiding stuff, and there's an escape hatch in the cockpit that leads to the secret cantina my buddy built under the landing pad. Kyle Katarn himself would be proud.

Saints Row: The Third [PC]:
Saints Row, bitches! Storywise, I'm up to the mission with the assassins disguised as prostitutes, the aptly-named "Trojan Whores." :ic$:

Saints Row the Third:

BEAT IT!!! I'm watching the credits now! The last mission was freaking awesome even though I died 3 times for stupid mistakes/glitches. Then the game switched to some mars crap that seemed cool at first, but it was just annoying.

Were we under NDA back then? It was so long ago.

Wait, where did these tears on my face come from? I am not cutting onions. AND I AM NOT CRYING.

Star Wars: The Old Republic:
Well, my weekend is over. Just for fun, I built up a hot pink-skinned Twi'lek Sith. I managed to get right up to the start of the Revan quest line before I decided to end the weekend on my own terms, since Bioware would end it for me an hour later.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind:
At least Elder Scrolls won't betray me...

Met up with Azura, who gave me a fancy Ring that will tell everyone I am the Nerevarine, basically the reincarnation of an ancient hero, basically Fantasy Jesus. Unfortunately, Jesus was not particularly popular when he was alive, and Azura flat-out states I'm going to get the same reception.

We were, back in CBT1. I realized later that we were. When CBT2 came around years later, I knew but I didn't give a crap. I don't think either of us cared, really, because eff yeah Exteel.

Somewhere in the big scrapheap in the sky, the BlueComet is raising a glass with... whatever the hell I called my mechs. They're painted in their True Blue exclusive paint and saluting.

I have spent a ton of time since the game closed down building up my own Exteel-based story since then. One day, I will share it with the world.

DC Universe Online:
Lady Awesome is now level 4--hey wait a minute! how did she go from level 30 to level 4? Playstation 3, that's how. Turns out, PC account and character data is kept separate from PS3 account and character data. While this means that, if I wish to continue with the PS3 version (And I do!) that I'd need to not only rebuild my characters, but drop the extra $10 on the Green Lantern DLC again (Which I am not entirely against) it also means that none of my characters are taken.

So, yeah.

Right, here's my update:

Mega Man ZX Advent
Ashe's story is nearly done. Beat all of the regular bosses, the 5 Mega Men (including Model ZX) and all 8 Pseudoroids, and finished all sidequests, except one: the green Chabanos. Think of it as hutning for them in every nook and cranny of every accessible level. Hope the reward is worth it.
All 4 Sub Tanks found and filled up, I'm ready to storm the final levels. Bring on Prometheus & Pandora with their battle music!

Kirby Mass Attack
Are we ripping off Angry Birds here? The boss of Volcano Valley is... a pig. A giant pig inside a volcano. I smell bacon ;) This boss takes skill and timing more rather than mere pummeling him, but he's still doable.
If you think I have beaten the game, think again. There's a Final World which has to be unlocked by collecting Medals. Off to replaying I go.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

- PotP Punch head

- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1
- Legacy Core Slug, Sludge & Snarl

Phantasy Star Universe:
Currently trying to save that brat-ass kid on the Formerly Green Green Farm. Really getting tired of him running away each time my party shows up.

Reached Level 7, I think. Or Level 9. I don't remember. I think there's a boss fight coming up.

Saints Row: The Third [PC]:
Just like in SR2, I'm spending a bunch of time on side-job crap instead of progressing the story. Which I should. Reached Level 39.

Phew... I was about to invoke the 3-day rule for non-activity in double-posting.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Putting major time into this with the goal of finishing it this week.
From the news area, explored downtown in the midst of a riot. Managed to help a cop take down a psycho who had sent a bomb threat. Defused the situation, the bomb, and the psycho (not in that order). Snuck into a high-security convention and stole information from the pro-humanity leader in order to track down his aid.
Tracked the aid to an underground bunker and he gave up what he could before a system glitch held me back. Still knocked him out.
From there, found a way to track my missing colleagues. Traced it through a gang area only to find a crime lord I had met previously getting an arm upgrade. Turns out the new arm was 'second-hand', so to speak. Misunderstanding but no violence once it was resolved.
Returned to china but was shot down. Escaped and found that everyone with augments is experiencing glitches simultaneously. A LIMB doctor asked me to track down an ops group gone rogue. In the end, I sided with the ops group.
Snuck into a port and set off an explosion as a distraction. This allowed me to sneak into a cargo pod that was ferrying unwilling people as test subjects. Ick...
On the other side of the trip, found a top-secret research facility. Worked my way through, disabled a signal jammer, and found 3 of my colleagues. 1 remaining.

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
GAME.OVER!
Fairly low on secrets earned and parts gained, but oh well. Fun game and I'm surprised how quickly I got used to the 100% touchscreen controls. Defeated baddie, restored ocean king, and rescued Tetra. Time to sail off to the sunset.

Zelda: Spirit tracks
Earned my engineer's degree which soon became useless as all tracks have vanished. Zelda asked me to help sneak her into a magic tower, but we then saw the tower break and float. Baddies knocked us out, took Zelda, and hurt our friend. Me and the buddy are alive but Zelda is a ghost for the moment. With the trains out, taking the back way back to the tower.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.
