What was wrong with that release?

Thats the one, to get your hands on the Armada/universe Ultra Magnus, you were pretty much forced to own him. I dont know how he keeps getting repainted, and strangely enough, his transition from universe to cybertron has left him EVEN more craptastic with an almost complete lack of a headsculpt. This guy makes G1 articulation look dynamic.

my greatest complaint is that his legs don't feel like the y fit properly, and when pushed in, they prevent the wheels from touching the ground in alt mode (i know its a retool of a version of blurr from.... energon (or armada? not sure.) and while i don't have the original, i'm inclined to believe that the process of retooling it to have a cyberkey gimmick is what causes the legs to not fit properly.
I'm maybe one of the few people i know that like's Blurr (had the G1 figure when i was a kid, and thought his shield was super-cool for some reason) and this version just did absolutely no justice to him!

Really???
Anyway, to answer the thread creator's question, no. EVERY single Transformer I have I have no regrets in getting. Not 1. There are some I like more than others, but that's it.

Uhhh.....
Maybe Energon Prime. Then again, I love his Super Mode, so what can I tell you...
Possibly RiD Sky-Bite. Yeah, RiD Sky-Bite sucked. Great mold though, and we'll never see it again either, so in a way, I'm glad I have a hold of it.
Armada Cyclonus, maybe? One of the worst alt modes ever?
I'll tell you one I have no regrets owning: Softimus Prime. I love that figu-.... doll. Thing.

I think it's shameful to rebadge a reissue Soundwave as a Classic line.
No, i didn't buy it. Almost bought it, but when i held it up close, i realize this will never do as a Classic.
Classics is all about redesigning G1 to bring it closer to the cartoon image, with more realistic and detailed alt mode, AND to give it what G1 barely had before: ARTICULATION!
Sure, Soundwave looks the best among G1 toyline, and it's got a little bit of articulation.
But it still doesn't qualify as Classics in my book. Articulation was, at best, pathetic. Absolutely no improvements in the old Japanese moulds, except for expanding the chest cavity to accomodate 2 cassettes. And the plastic-metal combination reeks of poor quality all over.
I wish Hasbro had redesigned Soundwave as a true Classics. Because he is one very cool and important character in old school Transformers.

I don't understand...
I am not ashamed of any Transformers figure I own. I collect Transformers since 1984 and am very proud to say that may collection exists of many figures from all series available.
I like some better than others but I am not ashamed for anything!
