The makers of Transformers 3 are really classing-up the joint in terms of actors, having recently cast thesps John Malkovich and Frances McDormand in the film. IGN recently spoke with the franchise's producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura as well as Malkovich himself about the third film and what we can expect from the actor's involvement in the project.
"You know, we don't talk a lot about that script, but [Malkovich is] going to have a lot of interaction with Shia [LaBeouf] in that movie," says the producer, seemingly confirming reports that the actor will play LaBeouf's first boss. "And he's got a really fun character. And he's going to bring a really interesting spin to that franchise so it's going to be great."
Malkovich, meanwhile, admitted that he likes a good giant-robot movie as much as the next guy, despite his seemingly higher-brow tendencies.
