Just ordered. Can't wait! Every fan for himself/herself. I rather get this exclusive than tiny little transformers with cheap plastic hasbrotoyshop's been pumping out lately. It actually looks pretty good. Gold chrome all around would have been better, but not complaining.

I consider this Soundwave the beginning of a new trend, a Lucky Draw, if you will. No pun intended. This trend of tying transformers with celebrities is cool. I love the idea. Hopefully, g1 or cool transformers will be used, not the recently football tie in with Megatron. The toy is too small to be a special edition. Make it a masterpiece or g1 reissue and I'll be all over it

I'm a sucker. This thing needs a gallery right here on ol' Seibertron.com. In fact, I'm such a sucker that I also bought this ...
... so that I can do this gallery right for all of you. Hopefully they'll all arrive by the end of next week.

But man, I WANT to see that gallery!

Back when it was a gold coloured Soundwavve, it sounded awesome, but now that it's been revealed that not only is it the price of Masterpiece Soundwave but is the colour of cat piss, it's an easy pass for me.

I like the concept but I don't see myself paying $150 for this particular figure at all.

This can't be right. A lot of recent toys have "sparkles." Metroplex, for example. I don't think it's specifically that. According to a Hasbro rep, with the gold plastic, it was literally the "gold flecks" (whatever that is
).
The gold flecks are the sparkles in gold plastic.

What did they do to Soundwave! He looks like something my cat threw up. And what a steal, only 30 bucks more than MP Soundwave was at Toys r Us.

Looks like the official scalping has begun. A couple of bozos from the release party are trying to make a quick buck. For that amount, you'd think they would take some more pictures of the box.

I'm not sure what's worse, those listings, or this one:
