It's just... I don't normally see packaged prototype-gray like this... makes me wonder. I want 'em, but I'll wait to be sure.

This quote was taken from Lucky Rogers facebook page.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

Maybe it will result in some decent priced Junkion kits

Slightly better prices... yet nothing to get too excited over as they're still overpriced. Like these though, but I also like the Maiden Japan one's... Money talks, yet neither are speaking to me.

so the exact same kit but 1 has a different face and a different gun....seems kinda lame

i can only really see getting 1 of these to be honest. I dont much like the yellow faces either but if it adds an extra junkion to the army then im all for it

Well, you could always just go with MJ... Though, you'll just have to wait for a long time.

ive ALWAYS gone with MJ...ive never understood these people who say -i cant get in contact with him- or -ive been waiting over a year for an item-

whenever ive emailed mj he usually gets back to me in about 2-3 days
whenever ive ordered anything from him i find i get it in about 2 weeks and dont forget im based in the uk

people have seen my junkions before and all my parts came from mj, if i remember right the last kit i got from him was his 2nd chest+waist+head with bull horns on it

i asked for that painted in Predacon Tantrum colors and he did that for me pretty much straight away

I think the main reason alot of people are waiting so long with mj is he has ALOT of orders and alot of people have ordered BULK kits. Before ive asked for unpainted and he usually sends them out to me right away coz its easier for him. Alot of people dont have any painting skills tho which is why it takes him longer to paint them. If you want a quality paint job it is worth the wait. Ive asked for kits from mj painted before and there AMAZINGLY well done - the man is an artist with that brush

i think ive just gotten stuff quicker because usually im just asking for 1 or 2 pieces at a time

I would say with mj just give hime time coz remember he does have LOADS of orders to try and get out of the way

I've ordered from MJ before. While the quality was top notch, it took 10+ months to receive my order. I only received updates if I contacted him first. Even then, it normally took about two weeks for a reply. Keep in mind, though, this was before he started selling them through online retailers.

I'm really looking forward to these new sets though. I think they look very nice!

you guys know mj is just 1 man right? doing over 1000 orders ON HIS OWN. Have any of you guys ever done any casting before? i will tell you right now it isnt easy. I tried so many times and failed yet hes doing over 1000 orders. He has to get all the chemicals - remake casts if they break - do the whole moulding - make the part and make sure there are no air bubbles etc. Let them dry and harder and then leave for afew days and then paint them as well to a high expert quality level

Hes not some fat american loser living in some trailer with no job and all the time in the world on his hands. he has a life and a job and family etc and anyone here whos married knows how difficult it is to get ME TIME and in his ME TIME hes doing orders whenever he can

Its worth it when the parts come but people need to learn to wait. Knowing the man and his details should be part of the course before you just hand money over and expect a quick fix. Hes real busy with real life so remember he is just 1 man doing all these orders and making them so just please please give him time

Ive found if you do want the parts yourself alot quicker then its easier to ask for the parts UNPAINTED as ive found i got them alot quicker that way. However considering mjs painting skills i would say that the wait is worth it

I don't think anyone is trying to bash MaidenJapan Swindle. You can put down your weapons. All I was doing was leaving HONEST feedback of my one and only experience with him. I'm sure he's a great guy and all. And yes, I think everyone knows he's a one man show. With that being said, personally, I think that makes it his responsibility to know when to deny orders so that buyers don't have to wait up to a year to receive their order. But, I guess that is up to the buyer how long they are willing to wait. Once again to clarify, I wasn't trying to tarnish MJ's reputation. I'm very pleased with the products i received, I was just sharing my experience with him.

I came here to talk about Lucky Rogers parts. Who the eff is Maiden Japan? ;) For those not really keeping score closely enough, these kits come with NEARLY all the same stuff. The differences being, each kit has a separate head sculpt and two separate "weapon" pieces each. Looks like everything can stay attached for transformation too which is a huge one-up on MJ. Don't get me wrong, I like what he does and the pieces I have. These are looking good though and deserve a fair shake. My only complaint is the yellow faces. I don't recall Junkions in the show or movie having yellow faces. I could be wrong, I just don't remember any.

Yes, we kno that one of the 4 chests can. Thank you for the constant reminder that you choose MJ.

I agree with your thoughts 100% Flux. I like my MJ sets but the fact that the LR kits add specific characterization, weapons to accent it, and can still transform have me very interested. Based on the competition, it's a pretty good price too. The yellow faces are a bummer but I'm sure they'll mesh fine with the yellow on Junkheap.

Not sure how long they've been up for preorder on Tfsource, but figured I'd post here just in case.

Legen...wait for it...dary! The Price is right! Come On Down!

(I am tempted, but will have to see about funds for other things...also, since the colours look pretty good with Generations Wreck-Gar, I'd need a United one to be actual Wreck-gar.)

Maybe it's Black Friday's influence on me. Maybe I just have no self control. Maybe I like shiney things...

I ended up ordering them. It was the transforming possibilities that sold me. I'll love having a Junkion army.

I am resurrecting this thread for a public service announcement. If anybody had any interest at all in these kits, you can't beat this price. I already had the warrior kit (which I also bought from toydojo awhile ago) and so I bought the medic kit.
