I'm shocked. I thought we were getting a FULL series targeted for adults in anime style. Short 7-minute episodes is more what I'd expect for some web series. (not to mention just 8 episodes) That's not even a full hour.

I'm DEEPLY, deeply saddened. I feel like it was a big tease for long-standing, loyal, older fans.

And it's not that I haven't enjoyed the younger-audience shows like Rescue Bots or RID2015 (It's great hearing Cullen chime in occasionally), but we need something meatier. More story, more characterization, real stakes, over-arching storyline, etc. (Not to mention some stellar, world-class animation.)

It makes me wonder why they don't do some one-off direct-to-video movies like we see for other franchises. (Batman, Halo, Riddick, Ghost in the Shell, etc.) The franchise is definitely worthy of it. Seems like a great place to explore some more grown-up themes and solid animation... not to mention a chance to pull in original actors like Cullen, Welker, Bell, Gilvezan, Burger.

Someone please pass this up the chain at Hasbro.

And in the mean time, I'll be praying this series of *SHORTS* is well received and gets expanded to a full series in the future.

Bay let the actors for the twins to make up their personalities the intention was for the Twins to be young rookie guys the racist lines and voices were made up by their actors.

Agreed! It would be a great way to shirk off the "rules" and do a new G1 story, Fall of Cybertron story, or even one set in other niche areas like Animated. Could be a great selling tool for the "filler" lines like Generations that get sandwiched between the live action movie toy lines.

G1 is by no means a "niche" area at this point. It may not have a cartoon, but it dominates the comics, the games (console/PC and Mobile), and the toy line. The first batch of Generations msy have been "sandwiched" between RotF and DotM, but since it came back it's been permanent, and is arguably the main line at this point. And it's almost entirely G1 (or WFC/FoC stuff that might as well be G1). To say nothing of all the G1 rehashes in the non-G1 stuff (though that's at least slightly less prevalent in RiD).

G1 itself is a blanket term though and has many, many interpretations, and if you follow the Japanese version then pretty much everything is linked together into G1!

Also wfc/foc are officially part of prime (though many disagree with that statement, that's the official take on it...For now)

Anyhow, I suspect that if this proves popular that titans return will get the adaption treatment, though IDW have been quiet about their plans for it.

The Transformer mythos is so ripe NOTHING Deserves multiple PG-13+ Animated movies more!

'Combiner Wars' could of been/should of been THE BIGGEST Multiple media platform launch in the History of the 21st century, right! The New Dope Toy's, Comic's, A Straight to DvD movie, t-shirts etc. But NOPE......

Instead we get sum Decent Bots & one UGLY, Half-ass written; 8 or 9 comics long 'Combiner Wars' comic story. When they're should of been At least one 50pg+Giant #1/ one-shot FOR ALL the major Gestalts. One-shots that broke down "the Combiner dynamic" or whatever given gestalts dynamic and inter-personal problematic blah blah is chosen (you get how cool it would be).. Which preluded into *A Combiner Wars animea DvD.* An than concluded back in the comics or something. But Hasbro was like Fug-it, Don't let anyone know ahead of time. So when we announce 'CW', IDW an everyone else has to play catch-up. Dicks..


BOTTOM LINE: Hasbro/IDW etc you guys are missing out on what DarkHorse (Hell Boy), Marvel an mainly DC has been capitalizing on for years. YOU GUYS NEED TO WAKE UP! Cause its 2016 this cheese dick Robots in Disguise ain't cutting it, an were sick of watching the dope 1986 Movie.

Because Machima Who apparently did the 2015 "Justice League: Gods & Monsters" which Originally started as only 3 Shorts, thus became ALOT more. Bruce Timm carved out Arguably - an IMO the Best Fanboy Surprise of last year- JL GODS & MONSTERS showed everyone how its done! It essentially Fused itself it's own DC Earth ((DCAU respectively contingent on Morrison's New Multiverse)). 3 Shorts, turned into 3 Prelude one-shot comics (The Batmn one is Exceptional, B.Wayne is A Broke Dr.K.Langstrom Vampire Batmn). Than it snow-balled into A Full DC style- straight to DvD., 90mnt plus movie; with another secondary additional Comic mini-series to boot. And As A whole, its A Phucking 5* Awesome surprise of the highest order. And I herd their going to be doing even MORE with this Twisted mythology.

Wow I'm dying on how ridiculous you sound not sure if you forgot what reality is but Transformers isn't as grand as Dc or Marvel If it was going to happen it would of already happened outside of us fans Transformers is a joke due to the Bay film's critical reception I can't even talk to anyone in real life about Transformers without being accused of being some sort of idiot to put things lightly.

To all those that are disappointed, please refer back to Machinima's Justice League: "Gods and Monsters" -it started as 3 "5 minute" segments, that lead up to an animated movie. It was so well received, that more episodes are coming out this year.

To the best of our knowledge, it is an adaptation of the Combiner Wars arc in IDW, which very heavily featured Windblade since half of it was in her book. And I don't think it's meant to advertise the toys OR comics, just the brand, in the same way as DC's direct to video movie series.
