He's in all the live-action movies, he's in both Aligned cartoons, now he's in this, I'm pretty sure he's done half a dozen minor roles as well... basically every Optimus voice in the last 10 years bar Animated has either been done by him or eventually been done by him in the case of Machinima. And he's damn good at it, but it would be a little nice if just for once someone else was allowed to be Optimus for more than five seconds.

I actually vastly prefer both Garry Chalk and David Kaye to him. Sue me

Well Sadly Mr Cullen will be dead soon as he is getting up there(I dread it, he will be missed). So lets just enjoy the time we have left to hear his awesome voice as Prime while we can.

I think you all have way to negative adult minds with high expectations for stuff and cant/dont just enjoy it as a fun cartoon. I enjoyed Combiner Wars just fine, yeah parts could have been better. But for free it was more than worth its money and I'm sure I will enjoy Titans Return even more.

Rid15 is a "fun cartoon". being very much a fan of the original series, I expect more, this cut-rate web series is an insult to everything I grew up with. Also notice my comments about Cullen. I don't think he's overused, and I'll cherish every moment I have to hear his voice. I just don't think someone of his stature should lower himself to be involved with something like this, but that's just me.

So, anyone else think Trypticon's going to take down Fort Max and any other opposing Titans, then be defeated by Windblade stabbing the weak spots in his hip joints? For me, that would redeem her lousy portrayal in the previous series, which was an entertaining train wreck even without all the necessary parodies. The low bar means the sequel has nowhere to go but up, so I'm looking forward to...whatever.

Toss the rotten tomatoes if you want, but I kinda actually prefer the Combiner Wars cartoon more than the comics. Sure, of course its not that good, the cartoon could be done better but it's not that bad either to me.
The comics is unique too, I do like certain aspect of it, but there is a different feel between the two.
Which means I'm actually looking forward to see the show.

One would think, but as low bar AOE was, for instance, TLK somehow managed to be an even bigger mess of a movie. Since that happened, TR can still be every bit as bad, if not worse, than CW was.

AoE wasn't all that bad, in fact I though it was better than ROTF and DOTM. TLK was definitely a mess, though.

Eh, a press release is supposed to HYPE UP THE GOOD PARTS and get you EXCITED for their AMAZING NEW PRODUCT! I don't expect them to acknowledge criticism in that kind of outlet, that doesn't mean they haven't addressed any.

I mean I rather doubt they've addressed them, but y'know, possibilities.

It's always good to see celebrities getting involved in their roles in a fandom - and it looks like Machinima's Titan Return new acquisition for Emissary, Jason David Frank (THE Green Ranger), is doing just that! His Facebook account posted a photo of his signature on a Fort Max poster identifying his Titan Master role, check it out below!

Funny that, I was rewatching Fighting Spirit from Dino Thunder before this was confirmed. I kind of wish that JDF's other Ranger roles were brought up more often.

He even just recently got yet another one, albeit, in comic/video game form.

Funny thing that Power Rangers/Transformers news should come up like this for me actually, since only last night I found out that that current MMPR comic is being written by Mairghread Scott -- which does make me much more interested in reading it. Heck, in general I've been in a bit of a Power Rangers kick despite barely watching any of the actual show thanks to rewatching Linkara's HOPR.

#Hascon 2017 Machinima Transformers Titans Return Information: 11 Episodes, Overlord, Trypticon

Postby Va'al » Sun Sep 10, 2017 9:55 am

Motto: "Till All Are Pun!"
Site staff megatronus - taking part in Hascon 2017 with Seibertron himself - reports back from the Prime Wars Trilogy panel part of the event's activities! While we don't currently have images to show you due to some technical difficulties, we do have information on the Titans Return series that will follow Combiner Wars as of this November. Read on below for more, and stay tuned for updates throughout the day!

Machinima Titans Return series will be 11 episodes at 10 minutes each (150 minutes - feature film length). The fan response and critique that the Combiner Wars series was too short motivated Machinima to up the budget. They showed a trailer, and some storyboards.

Overlord will be part of the series - they wanted to make his part organic, and not shoehorn him in. Everything comes together in the 3rd episode (or act? Or segment?) that explains his involvement and fills plot holes.

Metroplex, Trypticon are shown. The importance of Windblade as a city speaker will be highlighted.

Release date: November, episodes to go live twice a week.

I could have better dealt with the shorter length of the CW cartoon if the writing had been done well enough. If the TR cartoon isn't better written, making it longer isn't going to make it a better work of quality, it's just going to make it more painful to sit through. The writing is what needs improvement more than the length.
