Woah! I wonder how big... I have the small Matchbox version. The MAC II was my favorite non-transforming Mech from Robotech.

Yeah, we got some Alphas and Betas a while back, but no Hovertanks? I'm still thinking about pursuing the old Matchbox one, even with its flaws...

I remember CMcorp (now bankrupt) also released the Armoss and Tread a few years ago. Funny that I haven't come across any of the Southern Cross vehicles being released in the Land of the Rising Sun....yet.
The Super Robot Spirit Koenig Monster with the Shryll Nome decal, I don't think it was transformable.
I want to kick my self in the head for not getting the Yamato Koenig Monster

I had forgotten there was a transformable version of the Monster. Was that in Macross II? I don't remember it transforming at all in Robotech or the original Macross series...
I think I remember the CMcorp. Were those the alternative to the Robotech Masterpiece line of Alphas and Betas? If so, I remember being bummed that the tail fins didn't tuck away nicer. Otherwise they looked decent, though I think there was also an issue of the Alpha not integrating into the Beta all that well. (Sorry, my roots are in Robotech with exposure to Maxross and the other original Japanese animations coming much later, hence my use of the Robotech terms...) I liked the Masterpiece line of Alpha and Beta, though the Beta ended up HUGE! I am still bummed they didn't finish the Stealth version with Synchro cannon from the Shadow Chronicles....
And I would flip if there were mention of Southern Cross mecha!

Agamemnon wrote:That looks nice, except for the large deck on Prometheus causing issues with the lines of the ship. I wonder if the shoulder can be ticked a slot out and bent back in to get a more toon accurate look....
[Edit] And the Transformed mode made it look less good to me. There's somethign that doesn't look right about the main cannon... And I wouldn't be thrilled if the figure couldn't hold up the carriers. That's kind of a defining look for the SDF1 and Robotech...

Keeping the carriers level do look problematic. In the sea its no problem or in space. Not too sure if they were leveled in the Ontario Quadrant tragedy.

(And just to be clear, I'm not laughing at the Ontario Quadrant Tragedy. But I loved that comment, fenrir!)

I have the Hikaru VF1-S Perfect DYRL Yamato 1/60. He's a bit gray in color.
