Well, happy new year to all!

I've got to say, personally, 2016 was one of the worst years of my life. In it I lost good friends for standing up for myself and calling out people who needed to be. To them I say good riddance, because they are too immature and blind to see. I faced harassment in school for defending (note, not promoting) my political views. Lost a wonderful girl to distance. Found a virtually perfect one, except her parents hated my guts, so that didn't work out. A bunch of my personal heroes in acting and music died this year, all of whom will be truly missed. I dealt, and am still dealing, with hypocritical and insensitive parents who are a consistent pain in my ass ("Why don't you just stop your comic thing? It's not like anybody reads it").

But on the plus side I met a few very good people. When I say few, I actually mean like three.

So, because I love you guys far more than my former friends and most of my family, here's a late Christmas present for you all, a glimpse of 2017's offerings for Madeus Prime: Autobots and Decepticons Living Together!

#1. Glad to be here for ya, buddy! My parents don't get why I do the same sort of things either.

#2. I for one am someone that tries not to express political views online or in public unless it's in a place like Twitter where I have a lot of friends with the same views. (I'm not a bully, so even though I may have supported a different candidate than you, I still completely understand your frustration and am in the same boat as far as that goes. I don't just attack people who are needing time to heal or see the world in a different way than me.)

#3. Dangit. Now I can't wait to see your next comic.

1 - You're young. You're going to have worse.
2 - They obviously weren't good friends if they didn't like you standing up for yourself. Sounds like they only kept you around as a friend because they could push you around. Consider this a good thing.
3 - Defending your political views is always going to cause problems.
4 - Distance sucks, but again, you're young. Here's a tip, you actually don't need to be in a relationship to be happy, it's just a bonus.
5 - Famous people died. That happens every year. That doesn't make it a bad year.
6 - Your parents don't get you. Heeeeeeeyyyyyyy...welcome to the human race! Do what makes you happy. **** the haters.

All I can say is that some of those things weren't nearly that simple and clean cut.

Anyway, it's life and we're human. Life will suck, humans will do stupid things (12 movies? Seriously?), and yet we survive. 2016 had a lot of ups and downs for me too. It had ups and downs for all of us. We'll all be fine though, things will get better.
2017 looks better, especially for the comic. I'm looking forward to it.
Of course, we can't forget the best movie of 2016!
