Red Carpet News TV has posted an interview with Transformers 4 star Mark Wahlberg from a recent press event for 2 Guns. Wahlberg briefly discusses the relationship between his character and Jack Reynor's character as well as some mishaps with a new camera rig. Check out the embedded video below.

I give him a lot of **** in this movie. I didn't know my daughter had a boyfriend and then all of a sudden, this punk kid is thrust into my life and I have to deal with him while dealing with this very extraordinary set of circumstances..

This is an awful big fandom we're talking about here. I think on top of the rage we may have to order another few barrels of whining and at LEAST three more cases of butt-hurt to go around. :P

I wonder if it ever occurred to folks that having a movie set on a planet populated with 7 1/2 BILLION people MIGHT actually mean that not only is there is human interaction involved but it may be an integral part of the story, regardless of the giant f'ing robots? 8-}

Anyways... I'm actually starting to take some interest in this 4th installment. Very guarded interest, certainly not with the enthusiasm of TF3 but I think there may be a slim chance that I might like this one. All you haters and ass clowns take notice that (this time) I didn't say it would "suck" or it would be "great" since it may only suck "FOR ME" and not everyone else is going to view the movie the same. You can have an opinion, that's fine, just don't shove it down our throats like it's a fact.

At this point one has to face facts; the human element isn't ever going to go away. With that in mind, it's more practical to hope for some decent characterization and perhaps have the humans' story center around the TF's instead of the other way around.

TF 2007 and ROTF was all about Sam and his life, with the TF's doing their thing in the background. The humans and TF's seem to be forced together. DOTM, however, had a more natural connection between the human plot and the TF plot. Both sides intertwine, and neither is given more importance than the other. IMO, the main TF's in DOTM were also given more characterization than their first two movies put together.

While the plot itself has its own flaws and problems, it's a step in the right direction.
