From this roster of Marvel power houses who really is best suited for getting a KO on the last sun of Krypton?
How would they fair in favorable senarios?

Gladiator, he's a complete carboncopy of Superman.

Though Apocalypse could possibly cook something up.

You're either really overating Superman or you just really dislike him.

I would say Apocalypse would be the best for taking him out. He can mutate his arms into shields to protect from the eye beams and whatnot, he can grow to a tf sized guy and his arms become really big pistons. Not to mention his other abilities.

Remember when Superman was under Apocolypse's heel, and he blasted eye heat laser right through his foot. He might be a challenge to Sups, but not a winner. Sorry.

Captain Britain could possibly do it due to his powers being magically based. Then again I really really really F'ing hate Superman so I think any of them could do it. Actually Apocalyps does it by taking Leech, superpowering him and giving him the ability to focus his powers. Superman would beat any of these opponents one on one. Your writing as if Apocalyse or Sinister has months to plan ahead. If they get that so does Superman and he has much, much more resources than anyone here.

Thinking about it Superman could win this. He could grab Gladiator fly him the sun and beat him senseless. He then flys back to Earth powered up beyond his normal levels and beats everyone with ease. Without the sun technique he looses.

Well I'll admit i'm not fond of the last son of Krypton i must atest that i only assumed others would overate his abilities.

the more favorable senarios should cover the scope of Superman being attacked unawares. The way Sinister is written, although he's not on the list, months of preping would make since.

As for Apacolypse... depends on his attributes, but would still loose do to writters consitently playing him dumber than his profiled greatness. Otherwise this could be a hell of a match nearing Darksied praportions.

Blackbolt could make Clark bleed from more than just his eyes and ears with is vocal solo. If he got the jump on the last son of krypton that way, a masterblow puch to the temple would be his best bet for a KO. Though if it wasn't enough to take the S-man down...

i could go down the list, but you get the idea... Supes does tend to get hit by slow characters and seemingly put on the ropes by far weaker foes than listed above. I think each of them have a chance at Superman. A small chance, but a chance all the same.

I was wondering how the Seibs members would see the best chance of beating Supes one on one with the characters listed. Not all on one as DC shouldn't have a character that could take all of them at once and still loose to Endgame Thor. SuperSkrull would be my personal choice for an interesting showdown though.

It really depends.

Pre-Crisis would win. There are no questions to this, Pre-Crisis never loses.

Post-Crisis would have trouble, but I think he would win anyway.

Apocalyspe would make sure he had a plan before fighting Superman. Perhaps have a really large chunk of Kryptonite embedded in his armour, so Clarky boy can't get to it and break it.

Superman's Krytonite resistance is extremely high. He shattered a 100ft tall crystal robot thing made out of Krytonite with one blow after having been hit multiple times by a beam channelled through all the worlds Krytonite. He's flown though the asteroid field that is now Krypton.

He'd never be up with Darkseid. A well written Darkseid is more powerful than the entire Justice league.

Also Superman's fought and beaten White Martians before. Who are basically Stronger, faster versions of Apoc.

It was Darkseid on the Justice league show, not Apocalyse. Apocalyse and Superman have never met in any of the marvel/DC crossovers.

Not one of these guys could take Superman. I think there are very few characters in either the DC or Marvel Universe who could.

Don't know about the comic version of the Beyonder, but the one from the end of the Spidey cartoon could take down Superman, provided he didn't have to rewind time and drain all his power again.

Gladiator possibly as their powers are roughly similar
Although Black Bolts power of his sonic scream could knock supes out (He did this to a rampaging Hulk once after greenskin clobbered the entire inhuman royal family)
Alternatively put Superman against the Sentry or someone with enough cosmic power to level a planet without blinking.

Have you read a Superman comic? Superman takes on enemies and threats at his level and hangs out with other heroes which are at his level.

Yeah I agree, but to be fair I would only use characters on the fringe of uber power ,Silver Surfer for one, Thor for another, World War Hulk, maybe even cosmic Rulk,

Got to agree with the squirl girl bit.
But what about Dormamu Super man has no resistance to magic mental attacks yes. Or what about the robot thing from Captan Britan it was unstopable.

Superman only has much less strength around a red star, which is the most common type of star in the universe. Is there a relatively weak Marvel character who could transport his/herself and Superman many light years away to a planet inhabiting a red star? This character may be good for an upset special.

Yes...probably. It just occurred to me that I can't think of anyone with that kind of teleporting ability off the top of my head, but it seems like the kind of thing that would exist in either universe.

At the top of my head Lila Chaney was a galactic level teleporter.
Also Deaths head asfar as i am aware.
Personaly i think Captain Britan can do it but only buy lead ing Superman to the Fury.

It was Darksied he obviously mistook him for the big blue liped guy.
