New York Comic Con is chugging right along, and you thought we were done with reveals for tonight yes? Well, there is one more surprise in store for you Transformers fans, and while you may not recognize him at first, you will quickly recognize his name, hmm? That's right people, put on display was a new Marvel Legends Death's Head II! This new action figure is based on Death's Head II, the version of the character that followed his clearly better original Bounty Hunter Freelance Peacekeeping Agent Death's Head character we all know from the Marvel G1 comics, no? Death's Head II comes from a time where Death's Head was beheaded and his personality absorbed by a cyborb named Minion, a cyborg that Death's Head eventually took over and came to use as his vessel for years to come. He also lost some of his original mannerisms in the process (shame, eh?). You can check out this figure below, and you can stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all your latest Transformers (and Death's Head) news, yes?

Is this one of the smaller 4" figures like the original or part of the larger 6" line?

It's part of the 6 inch line, but seeing as its a new mold and judging by the arms it will DEFINITELY also be colossus I would count on this figure being no less than 7 inches tall.

I think I'm happy with the Death's Head figure I already have, but this is neat.

This just makes me more frustrated that the first Death's Head figure was the smaller scale; this guy would scale better with more TF:TM era toys, but looks nothing like his TF UK appearances.

Still nice to see da Furminator's coolest Marvel-owned creation keep getting love!

Pass. If it was Death's Head (the original) in 6 inch then I'd be interested. Still love the 4 inch figure.

Would be awesome if we could get DH in his original green suit someday too then he'd look much more accurate with Transformers figures.

Same. Looks like sweet figure.

Also for anyone interested in this figure he is Build a Figure, meaning you have to buy $100+ of other figures to get him or you could buy the figure loose off EBay for $50-70.

I was talking about Death's Head but looking into it more he may be a single packed figure.

I'm posting this here since it's the only thread I know of discussing the figure.

Death's Head II is out in stores.

Found at the Waterville, Maine Walmart for 19.87, a little too much for me.

We have some not entirely Transformers related news for those of you still looking - it appears that the Marvel Legends Death's Head II (whose history is very much linked to Transformers in a number of ways) is currently appearing at Walmart stores, according to Seibertronian Emerje.

Emerje wrote:Found at the Waterville, Maine Walmart for 19.87, a little too much for me.

What is strange, however, is that the New item was in fact first found by site owner Seibertron back in July (we didn't report on it) at a Meijer store.

Seibertron wrote:Death's Head II sighting at Rolling Meadows, IL Meijer store on July 27th.

Whatever has happened to the toy's distribution, you may have already come across it - but if you haven't and you're still in the market for the bounty hunter/freelancing peacekeeping agent, now may be the time to hit some Walmarts and Meijers!

Still waiting for them to do a 6 or 7 inch scale Death's Head 1. I have the 4.5 inch Infinites figure which is very nice but I want bigger. Also I'd love him in his green outfit from Transformers but that's even less likely since he never wore that in majority of his general Marvel comics.

I didn't realize this guy was someone people were really looking for. I've seen him a lot in stores.

Yep, that's what I pointed out in the story too: people have been notifying the NEWness of the figure at Walmart, but it's been out a while elsewhere! :D

Cos he killed and absorbed Death's Head I? Not as direct a connection to the Transformers as DHI but still connected.

Plus, Transformers creators keep being involved in his depiction in the comics, most notably Andy Lanning and Nick Roche.

It's slim, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :-P

He wasn't even new at Walmart here. I found him at Walmart the first time figures showed up there. I didn't find Nebula or Gamora there though until recently, but he was there.

Great to see this guy showing up in more stores.
I will have to double check for him on my future trips.
For anyone not able to make it to a WM to look for him, here is the Amazon link.
