The Punisher Netflix series comes out today. It's taking a beating on Rotten Tomatoes.

I'm disappointed to hear that, but I'm still looking forward to watching it tonight.

Saw Ragnarok last night, it was pretty good. Next up is Black Panther. Looks mediocre. Gonna pass.

I watched the first 4 episodes of the Punisher series and so far I like it. I wish there was more focus on Frank taking out the trash instead of just his past, but I guess we'll get to that sooner or later. It's only been 4 episodes. Can't wait to see the rest.

I'm about three episodes in to "The Punisher."

The opening scenes depicting Frank in full Punisher garb, contrasted to his immediately trying to leave that life behind, to being pulled back again makes for a rather jarring transition. I can't say that I cared for it. I would have rather have seen Frank just stay the Punisher after the end of Daredevil Season 2, but then that doesn't give the character formative arc that Netflix/Marvel wanted. Still, could have been handled better.

That being said, Episode 3, "Kandahar?" Awesome. Perfect in nearly every way.

Thanos just straight bitch slapped Tony.

In Ragnarok Odin told Thor that Mjolnir didn't have special powers, that it was in Thor himself the whole time. So if Mjolnir is just a hammer, why couldn't the other Avengers lift it in Age of Ultron?

With the power being in Thor, it's his belief in only those worthy being able to lift it that holds it down. And at that time, Cap was the only one he thought was close to worth, hence his moving it a touch.

Just a rambling idea for it. Mjolnir OUGHT to be a powerful artefact though. It always has been everywhere else, no?

I kinda wish they'd brought the Odinforce into play...Would've been cooler to see Thor duel wielding lighting and Gungnir with Odin's mojo. I know in the comics the Odinforce is overpowered, but they could've toned it down for the film.

Also, I almost cried laughing at the line "Now you know how that feels!!!"

Its not like the hammer was without its own power. In the movie,it seems to say that the hammer was to help Thor train his inner abilities.

the first two episodes of Agents Of Shield were really good
the Cree have sent the team onto some colony set in space, they eventually find out that they're actually in the future(or maybe some alternate reality?) the CG with the spaceship that May pilots is really good, and they find out that a large part of the earth is destroyed(some fans speculate that maybe Thanos has done this with the infinity gauntlet! but it actually turns out to be Daisy that's responsible, as well as that this might be a plan to keep the team out of the way while Thanos wrecks havoc on earth as well as bringing down the moon upon it). so we've obviously got this whole season of the team trying to defeat the Cree's plans as well as trying to find a way back to their own time(or reality)

So the original Secret Wars story can actually make it to the big screen now. I don't like Disney and their monopoly, but that's a small positive.
