The Reapers have been at this far longer than the existence of the Rachni. It's possible the Reapers (Though because of the timing, just Sovereign) kicked off the Rachni Wars though indoctrination of the Rachni Queens, but there's nothing to suggest that the Rachni were used to make a Reaper.

Charge was made of Win and Awesome in ME2. If it weren't for the cooldown timer, it would have been the only move I used.
